Problem is no one has ever actually said put it away John!
Seeing the q&a Torchwood session with Noel Clarke & a couple of other stars of the show it was kind of accepted almost like an initiation, werent truly part of Torchwood till John put his fool on your shoulder! I personally would have his it with a heavy book!! But that's me.
I don't think on the hearsay of a couple of stars ihis behaviour can be deemed acceptable and the norm ! I bet there are cast and crew who have been in fear of speaking out against him!

Whipping your rooster out is bad enough (personally Id have just said put it away you dirty bugger) but putting it on peoples shoulder is out of order IMO.

If it was Joe Bloggs flashing and exposing himself he would be probably jailed.

His behaviour has been known for years, he's had a weird juvenile Obsession with his fool. He also loves sex, nothing wrong with that in theory, but his time in the west end as an actor it did border on what would be called predatory now. He assumes everyone thinks like him.

John has always given off bad and pompous energy, the kind of person that if encountered at an audition, would step all over you to get the part, not surprised by any of the bad news released about him.

bleeping sick of this 'it was a different time', I'm 40 and it's never been acceptable in my lifetime to get your fool out, even for a laugh

He sounds horrible. One of those crass “some people have no sense of humour” types when someone finds his behaviour offensive. And as for “it was a different time”. Was there ever a time where it was ok to get your fool out in public and rest it on people’s shoulders? Terrible shame hat pins have gone out of fashion. One swiftly applied would have quickly cured him of the shoulder resting habit!

As others have noted, there is a reason flashing is a chargeable offence and grounds for the sex offenders registry. It’s also commonly (but not always) a precursor to more serious sex crimes. Not to accuse him of anything, but to help put the issue into a greater context. We know actors and the industry in general tends to operate differently to most other workplaces, the stereotype of the whole ‘luvvie’ culture of being very touchy feely with each other. But a line does exist and he very clearly crossed it. That video of Noel Clark telling the story about Barrowman ‘putting it on people’s shoulders’ and the way the women did not look like that was a funny pleasant memory for them, they looked awkward and embarrassed.

I know this off topic is completely, but I’ve emailed Tattle Life multiple times to request deletion of my account and they have not responded, yet they’re actively moderating comments constantly. Anyone else encountered long response times with the Tattle Life team?

The amount of people who still support him is insane, an his stans are ridiculous, would they be that way if it was a work colleague of there's, would they be all "oh but that's just John" NO of course not, this fascination with celebs an thinking it's OK for them to do certain things just because of who they are is not only shocking but dangerous, if a random contacted a under age for photos there would be authoritys all over that but yet celebs could easily not only ask for these things but meet up an it's just a slap on the wrist, it's about time they were punished twice as bad as the public because these are people who others look up to an they should be made a example off that nonsense like this won't be allowed no matter who you are

It’s just “John” flopping his rooster out in the workplace, it’s okay he does that to all the girls.

if someone did this to any of my female family I would be livid

shame someone hadnt a rolling pin out and smashed it.

I think it would be fairly unpleasant for many male recipients as well.

I wonder if he'd think it was 'just a laugh' if a woman put her tina on his shoulder?
