I think it’s so odd that they tiled their entire backyard. The whole point of a yard is to have a private green space, not a tile ice rink I can imagine it gets dangerously slippery with rain or even dew

imagine how gorgeous and cozy it could be with some native plants, bushes, flowers…and kids love nothing more than just digging around in some dirt and finding sticks, making mudpies, watching insects, all that. The tile is an insane choice

Yeah, it happened a few years ago now in Mexico! She definitely got some content out of it but I always thought she took it well in her stride considering what an ordeal it must've been for her. Jim is such a wet blanket.

Indeed, she had to essentially have chemo to kill off everything in her body to then start a clean slate. Pretty new experimental treatment, in freakin’ Mexico, away from your family and young children, destroying your immune system leaving you open to everything, losing all your hair (obviously minor in relation to the rest), not knowing if it’ll even work.
And Jim’s out here having visiting hours with his kids in his own home after a tonsillectomy like he’s on death’s door.
