Thought she came across so well on Brian Dowling's podcast - poor girl seems to be really struggling and really in the midst of serious grief. Considering how soon she did that interview after her father's death, she did so well speaking about it.

Feel terrible for her that her wedding is essentially on hold until she feels she can cope without her dad being there - it must be horrific dealing with that. She also mentioned that she felt guilty eating when her dad was so unwell and unable to eat himself - his illness and death was clearly a trigger for her regarding disordered eating; I hope she gets support when she returns home, really have a lot of respect for her after that interview.

She was manically exercising and severely underweight long before her Dad became unwell though. Obviously her Dad’s sickness and passing accelerated it, but I wouldn’t say triggered it - all it takes is one look back on her Instagram account to see how long she’s been this way (years, her Dad became unwell in 2020). I think the poor girl is very troubled and struggling with grief following his passing (as we all would be), but I really don’t think she recognises that she has long-standing issues with body image and perception and instead genuinely is attributing her issues to his passing.

Oh my god, that is so sad. Having lost my own dad recently, her comments about normalising grief resonated with me.

I have to say I think she’s put on some weight recently, I think Australia has done her the world of good. She looks the better for it

Yes she says she’s put on a couple of pounds which is really positive. She’s been saying how much she has slowed down, stopped watching what she was eating and calmed down on the exercise.

She is still doing so much more than me workout wise 🤣 - I guess it is all relative. Also when she was in Ireland she was sharing all her food she was making and all her baking so we know this wasn’t being consumed. It’s a bit misleading for young girls to think they can eat what she is inferring what she it eating. I guess Jess has a really complicated relationship with food and we don’t know what she goes through on a daily basis.

Overall sounds like Oz has been a really good experience for her.

I ageee, I think she seems really happy there.
That said the one thing I cannot understand is how much tanning she’s done there. Her skin looks painful, with that purple undertone that even sallow people get when they’ve gone too far with sun worshiping.
I know people can be contradictory anyway, but she seems otherwise so health conscious, but is doing untold damage to her skin.

I wonder how happy she really is, the constant need to post non stop positivity, it's not natural. Agree re her skin, it's horrible looking and she's painfully thin. Some of those swimwear shots would turn your stomach.

I find her a fascinating character. Defined as a “future pharmacist” but putting out advice as if she is more than qualified and experienced to give it. A lot of it “trendy” info. I messaged her about her suggested alternatives to eggs in her stories at the weekend & challenged how these alternative ingredients are sustainable eg importing chia seed, soy power takes lots of air miles, never mind the effort that has to go in to clear land to produce these fanciful imported egg replacement ingredients...
Needless to say there was no response but I mean, there is no depth to her stories...picking the trendy new “better for the planet” ideas and screenshots as if they are somewhat wholesome coming from a “future pharmacist”. All the incessant cooking and recipe sharing is fascinating too...thinking of the food waste (cos do we really think she eats it?)despite her “better for the planet” food substitutes at the weekend....

She is looking better which is nice to see. I might sound lazy but I dunno how anyone could be that intense-go-go-go-never-sit-down mentality that she admitted to. Just so extreme dunno how it wouldn’t drive Rob mad . But I guess a lot of dedication involved in his job too.
I still don’t think she will be totally honest about food. I’m naturally slim (ish) 😅 but I would look huge beside her because I still have so much meat on my bones in comparison. You can be naturally slim but it’s a much softer look than her.

I do wonder is she feels a lot of pressure to keep up the fitness with Rob and his job....

Altho in saying that she was a lot healthier looking and a more “normal” weight when they met

I was shocked when I seen photos of them together at the start of their relationship. She had a much softer looking face, probably because she had a bit more weight on then.

For all her pharmaceutical know how, if masks are mandated for inside in WA, she shouldn’t be wearing it under her nose in the gym. So stupid and pointless.

Wonder how her packing is going to travel home...wondered if she brought ALL those outfits, supplements & massage guns& beauty products to Australia, now having to pack them all up again?? Or leave them behind cos, you know, they only get one wear in this fast fashion influencer world...

I dunno, I just find her so disingenuous now since she’s had her “ta-dah” moment while away and realised she was over exercising and under eating. Remember all her baking in the first lockdown, all her dinners at Jamie’s in Dundrum and mooch yogurt, implying she was always eating everything but just recently admitted she’s overly restrictive with her food. She’s still flat out posting food and not a chance she’s eating any of it. I wish her well and I’m happy to see her come home, but I think she needs to take her eating habits of Instagram.

Yes!! I’m tired of looking at her food photos. I mean the food looks delicious but it’s clear she’s NOT eating it, no way! & who is she kidding only herself? I cringe to think of all the food waste. It’s nice to have a balance but she’s waaaaay too holier than thou....thinking of the answer to the q of how she prepared for college, like, live a little! I thought the question posed to her on the q&a “how are you so mature?” laughable also...

I find it mind blowing that anyone is complimenting her maturity… she’s applauding herself for flying home on her own. By her age I was doing that with children in tow!!
