She’s planning on going full time but then doing locum work to spend time with friends and family. Why bother qualifying. She cannot become an online expert, she is dangerously unwell and is a toxic online presence

A lot of the class I graduated with from pharmacy school went on to locum rather than take a full time job as rates of pay for locum work is very lucrative....at the moment it ranges between 50-120euro per hour. I prefer working full time in the one shop but I can see why locum work is attractive, especially when starting out your pharmacy career, to see what services different shops offer/what you like and don't like about various shops so you're more informed when choosing a full time job!

I got a sponsored ad for Optilase come up on my insta feed with Jess promoting laser eye surgery. She claumed with glasses kn she couldnt recognise people even if only 10m away from her. How can companies get away with this sort of thing? She is 1) Either lying or 2) had the wrong prescription in her glasses!

She shouldve said laser eye surgery is better for the gym and sport as you dont get fogged up when working out or something.

I'd get over the boots if they were booties as it was cold here in Cork today. Not sure about Dublin weather today but there isnt pick on her so she surely has to feel the cold more. It's the cleavage and the thigh high boots. I dont find it very professional at all. No matter what anyone says but stuff like this does affect your career.

One girl in my previous company used to wear very revealing outfits to work. HR said it to her manager and they wanted him to say something about it. HR were too chicken. Me and him were good friends and he told me what was going on. He was like "no bloody way...i'll be up for sexual discimination". No one ever said anything but she definitely missed out on opportunities because of it. Once we all had to pick 1 team member to be part of a video to promote the company. He said HR told him not to pick her because of her clothes.

OK but... we live in Ireland, hardly tropical weather. I wear black tights with dresses to work all the time (as I don't want bare legs in the office!) and I've never felt sweaty in them?! Can't believe I've been turning people stomachs this whole time

I feel the same. I base it on how gross I feel in tights even in winter after a long day on the go. The feet parts HONK and the crotch bits are just so scratchy by the end of the day.

It's absolutely lashing in Cork today. So dark, it's like the middle of winter. You better believe I have black tights on. Most irish women wear them for 9 months of the year! You need to get a life if you're that upset about other people's hosiery.
