Came here as I was watching a few vlogs from a few vloggers on the Icon of the Seas, and one of Jen's cruise videos was recommended to me. Holy crap she is something ...

So she hasn't disclosed what was so terrible about the cruise yet? Did the Tumi suitcase survive?

New vlog should be out later today… I shall watch on YewTube and report back when I can. Lol What with that pesky work nonsense and going out for supper tonight with my girlfriends.

Going in on my lunch break…

“I’m stressed about bringing this video to you. I don’t want this to be sensational. I don’t want this to be overly dramatic.”

Oh Jesus Christ woman that is 100% dramatic.

I hate when people use more than 100%, but I'll say she's 10,000% dramatic. Maybe she's upset that her wine sippy cup didn't have to be a secret, or it's something that she broke the rules and got called out for or (gasp) the gays (who she supports) were openly affectionate in the public spaces. Pre-drama drama. Good Lord, could you imagine a sermon from her?

Says she’s been on one adults only cruise with Viking but other than that all her cruises have been on Disney.

Admits that they booked a heavily discounted rate at the last minute where Virgin assigned them an accessible cabin. Shower had mold which they asked to be cleaned and it was, and the bathroom door kept coming open while they were in there. Jen doesn’t want Scotty seeing her do her business. Cabin quality doesn’t match the rest of the ship. Felt very 3.5 star hotel while the rest of the ship was 4-4.5 star hotel.

Gasp! They only provide one small bar of soap by the sink and body wash and shampoo on the wall in the shower. And only one bar of soap for a 4 night cruise.

Got back from their day in key west and there wasn’t any power in the room. They called to guest services and 200 cabins were affected and they hoped to have it fixed asap.

Went back to cabin after dinner and power back on but AC is on high and they can’t switch it or turn off any of the lights.
---
Ugh keep trying to type on my phone while watching and it keeps refrsh8ng. Basically they called and asked to be moved asap instead of waiting til after scarlet night. Jen’s in a pizazz because she had unpacked so they got escorted to a new cabin which was smaller (duh not accessible) and supposedly a downgrade. Shower was too small for Scotty and by the time they unpacked again she was feeling sorry for herself and didn’t go to scarlet night.

Next morning she gets talking to other pax and they were one of the only ones moved. Half had power with lights and at that wouldn’t shut off and other half had no power still. Guest services was obviously overloaded and Jen was miffed that they weren’t responding to her. She went to the spa ($290 for a 4 day thermal suite pass is apparently a great deal). She was relaxed and decided to go full Karen and ask for the manager when she got back to the cabin. She called multiple times with no call back. She wants compensation because this cabin is $600-700 less than the one they booked and plus they’ve been stressed by the situation.

she moves to their online chat feature and gets offered $150 onboard credit. Nope not happy. So eventually a letter gets brought to the cabin with a case number on it and she’s told to follow up once she’s at home.

They go to Bimini virgin’s private beach club and they ran out of clean glasses, it was too loud for her, blah blah blah.

Jesus. So insufferable. Stuff happens/goes wrong on every line and generally they all try to correct it as soon as possible.

1) Unsure if it was actually mold, but whatever.
2) Ask for more soap.
3) The bathrooms are at the front of the cabin. Unless he's just standing there, he's not seeing her do her business. Ask him to sit on the balcony.
4) The AC/power thing: obviously they were working on a problem. Call and ask if they're still working. If yes, go elsewhere or sit on the balcony.

The entitlement is enormous.

Then all the cabins affected got a letter under their door offering $350 onboard credit towards their next cruise good for the next two years. So now she’s really mad. “Insult to injury”

“we work hard for our money and my husband took a week off work”

“I’m now sitting here left feeling ripped off because nothing has been done.”
---
“Many many people had it far worse than we did but it’s not my story to share but people were robbed of their money and their time.”

It was negligence on Virgin’s part and we hope this video creates change.

You trust me as a traveller to present you with fair and honest reviews.
---
Christ, that was dramatic. Was it crappy that it happened? Yes. But it wasn’t a single cabin issue so clearly it’s not going to be dealt with and rectified by the staff on a 4 day cruise when this happened halfway through day 2. Call Virgin when you get home and your credit card company. The end.

She works? I guess christian pastor lady has no grace to give. Hubby took a week off work at the last minute? I call BS. With her drama, I thought it would be they were both forced to have tattoos of Hattan on their face.

EDIT: I wouldn't trust her with traveling downstairs.

Jen, your husband took a week off work TO GO ON A VACATION. That’s what we all do. We take time off our regular jobs to go on a cruise, if we’re lucky enough to afford one. Do you think Scott should get paid leave from the airline to accompany you on your many many vaycays?

She had an accessible room at the beginning, moved, then complained that the new room was smaller. That’s because it didn’t need to accommodate a wheelchair Jen. Get a clue.

“My husband is 6’4” and works out 90 minutes a day”. That’s for his side piece hun, not you.
---
Also, because I haven’t watched her for a long time, that bleeping hair. Has she ever heard of conditioner? She nicely arranged her background to showcase the curated books and decorative pieces but then comes on with that bleeping dry hair?
And the nose. The nose. It’s like a potato with a spade mark right in the middle. She’s potato adjacent.

Yep Scotty works out 90 mins a day so the meal portions were too small for him. Grant me strength 🤦🏻‍♀️

You know there’s a side piece. Otherwise you wouldn’t need to brag to everyone that you love spending time with your husband after 34 years of marriage.

Potato adjacent 🤣💀🤣💀🤣💀

Honest to god, she made me so irrationally annoyed it took me a good half hour to calm down from what I’d just watched at my desk.
---
Oh god, I just went to YT and the comments on her video are full of her Stans telling her how horrible that must have been. Starting with Gary C at the top of the comments stating that what she’s been offered isn’t nearly enough. How about you pipe down and keep stroking Twattan and his ego for your free vacations with first class flights and Deluxe/DVC Disney hotels!!!

But really, all these fools are comparing Virgin to Disney and Viking cruises. Ummmm no. Nowhere near as expensive or as luxury as either of those lines. When I’ve priced a week cruise with Virgin it was similar in price to NCL and Carnival. That’s why I think it’s hilarious that she’s going on about how much they paid for a last minute discounted rate. Calling bull on that!

They did lower the initial pricing due to the full year they had to wait until they sailed because of the pandemic and the terrible "oh no it's different" whining vloggers did. Their initial target was younger, well paid folks who hadn't cruised or didn't cruise much. The lowered price set them in with RCL and NCL.
Gary "phobia of work" C is terrible. And Jen's (and all of them) with their whining echo chambers can go pound sand.

They really bleeping can. I’m sitting here watching the news about new US bombings in Iraq and Syria and the famine happening in Garza and these assholes are whining because they lost power while they were off a cruise ship, it was off when they went to dinner and it was back on when they got back from dinner. Then the horror they got moved to a smaller room and the 6’4 husband couldn’t stand under the shower head. I highly doubt the wick fits under 90% of shower heads world wide and definitely not the hotel ones he showers under as a pilot.

I’d love these people to spend one night with the homeless and mentally ill in Atlanta or go volunteer with Medicins Sans Frontiers in Central America or Haiti. Nope, they stay in their suburban track house McMansion and whine about their stressful lives being a pilot about to retire in the next few years with full benefits including travel perks and his wife who spends her day cleaning the house and going to Disney.

I’m sure she or her “staff” are heavily monitoring and deleting negative comments. Absolutely no shame or self awareness. World is going to tit and Karen is crying in her champagne. So christen of her!

As someone who has worked in hospitality for over two decades, my heart goes out to the staff of that ship. I don’t believe for one moment she was in need of soap. “Miss 1000 thread count” would never use some generic bar. 😆

I honestly think this cruise was chosen for two reasons: new clickbait for Jen and new side pieces for Scotty boy!

Like she has any intention of using the off brand hotel soap. It was just something to moan about. And she obviously rounded up loads of people and gave them her channel details and an invitation to comment about how awful it all was.
Also, that red dress she bought for Scarlet night was hiddy.

Especially with the fake color of her hair. I only saw the screen grab here, but it doesn't look like her usual brag expensive dress.

She got the dress used off Poshmark dirt cheap, she mentioned that in her packing video last week. But has to throw out the “I bought a new dress and everything” oh whoa is me crap for the faux empathy from her stans.

Here’s a novel concept Jen, most of us do buy new clothes or an outfit or two when we’re going on vacation because we only go once or maybe twice a year.

My bestie and her husband are going on their first cruise at the end of March. I guess the FB group for this Celebrity cruise has people falling on the side of really dressing up so she’s bought a few things from Shein and H&M for the evenings because who dresses up to go out at home anymore?! She said if they like cruising then she’ll have her dressy clothes going forward and if not she hasn’t dropped a tonne of money. My other bestie is going on RCCL for March Break and she got a couple of things for the theme nights at Walmart and our local second hand shop.

God forbid Jen buy a red dress from Walmart or Target for $20 that she’s possibly going to wear once. She’d probably say she’d got a rash from the poor quality. Must only wear her merino wool tshirts and Spanx jumpsuit that cost $150-200 each.
