Problem I think is, some of these involved are no doubt in very high positions. I imagine court, police, figures would would have shut this down. I’ve just read that and she’s practically guaranteed she won’t get clemency by saying it. She designed it to appeal to both Democrats and Republicans but what she’s done is made her testimony completely worthless to anybody because she’s offering it in return for clemency. Even if Trump gave her clemency and she testified he was innocent it would be worthless as everyone would just say she exonerated Trump in return for freedom, nobody would believe the testimony was true. Trump has no reason to give her clemency because her testimony is now worth nothing. She’s basically offered to sell it.
I saw a tweet which I didn't save, unfortunately, but the gist of it was that the way the files are being released is deliberately trying to flood us all with so much horror that our brains can't take it. Something to do with making us revert to our reptile brain to cope with, or even reject, the info dump. But I guess you have to just be really aware of what it's doing to you and take regular breaks from scrolling social media about it all because it's really overwhelming and god knows what it's doing to our psychology.
