I agree that this case should be used as a way to identify vulnerable people being trafficked and how to prevent it the future. But in regards to these names, if anyone is named for doing something illegal then that should be in the public domain. I’m not interested in a celebrity who once turned up to a fundraiser or a celebrity who’s he boosted about knowing. But if there is consistent claims that X person took part in sex with trafficked women, some who were potentially minor then that I think is of public concern. Especially as these are very powerful men and women, some who are involved in the highest offices in politics.

Actors aren't known for being fine morally upright people (even though they pretend to be by jumping up to support causes that are popular). I don't care who Leo Di Caprio sleeps with as long as she's over 18 and willing.

It's more concerning that politicians and law makers are involved in this scandal to me. They should be held to account if they are governing over us.

This runs deeper. Mandelson has been a permanent fixture in the core of the Labour Party for decades. Our current government is made up of people who were inspired by and looked up to him. Here's a young Wesley. It's very worrying how much influence Mandelson had.

Mandelson was just about born into the Labour Party. His grandfather was Herbert Morrison who was Home Secretary under Ramsay MacDonald as well as in the WW2 coalition government. Morrison was variously an MP, Leader of the London County Council, Deputy Leader of the Labour Party, Leader of the Opposition, and Member of the House of Lords. Mandelson would have grown up knowing just about anyone who mattered in left wing politics. He was in his teens when his grandfather died so plenty of time to make connections.

like the poster above said, we absolutely do not know what real and what’s not. I just don’t see the point in forcing yourself to read it all when any fake stuff is designed for maximum distress.. and even if it is real, why are you hurting yourself by reading it all? Unfortunately you can’t do anything about it

I don’t need to “wake up”, I just need more than a draft email from a prolific blackmailer.
I am not defending Gates, regarding his relationship with Epstein. My guess, is that his involvement with him, will have involved trafficked girls or women (though I am not going to assume that is the case for everyone who was ever photographed with him or visited him in one of his homes).

The file dump is a mess. It leaves masses of unanswered questions and has created confusion.

I’ve made a couple of jokes and I wasn’t meaning to be disrespectful. I think it is just the fact that ‘the list’ has been a talking point for years that it has become the joke rather than people joking about what happened. Completely understand your point though. If it is true that all these people were actually abusing people then it is scary to think about.

The question for me is over the initial fortune, rather than what came later once he had everyone's money sloshing about under his control and was earning from it (whether by commission, percentage, or getting his trades in first).

People wouldn't have been trusting him with their money if he didn't already have the fortune (real or otherwise) to back up his assertion (or allowing them to infer) that he was some sort of financial wizard. Unless his startup flash-cash wasn't real and he had a credit line to the tune of a billion or two which would surely also be raising some questions as back then he would surely have had nothing to secure it on.

Epstein started teaching in '74 age 21 with no degree. Donald Barr, the father of former U.S. Attorney General William Barr (who is said to have covered up deets on Epstein's death) got him the job.

It's been said Epstein was involved in porn (will have made contacts) and letched over students. Sacked in '76 for poor performance.

Following his dismissal from the school he leveraged connections (Alan Greenberg) made at the school to secure a position at the investment bank Bear Stearns. '76 - '81. Sacked in '81 for "Reg D violation" involving the improper sale of unregistered securities. I think this is when he started properly working for/being useful to various secret services inc cia, mossad and kgb and could have had more cash available from those sources too.

(Trump and Epstein started hanging out in the late '80s. Epstein met Robert Maxwell, Ghislaine's dad late '80's too.)

Then he formed his own firm, J. Epstein and Co., to manage money for billionaires, most notably billionaire Les Wexner, owner of Abercrombie & Fitch, Victorias Secret, La Senza (this is where access to top models comes in) who gave Epstein full power of attorney over his finances in 1991 and gave him the big brown house in New York for $1 where he entertained the rich and powerful and Jizzers was a sort of madam.

Names in bold are mine and are names that are should be looked into far more.

Then I read about Karen Mulder the model and what she said that was put down to her having a breakdown. Then I thought about Duffy. It bad enough as it is - but there is also a lot of made up stuff on tik tok, X etc.

As if we need these fake add ons, when the reality is grim enough. The problem we now have with this file dump, is we don’t know what is genuine and what has been created by others,
I have seen some obvious fakery on social media, and when it has been called out - others will say they are protecting the perpetrators and denying the victims justice.
Awful, but the way this has been handled, it’s sort of inevitable that this is happening.
