Thanks to Jay Slater, I now refuse to go on holiday incase I accidentally fall nose first in to a vat of Ket and end up hugging a cactus whilst offering it a Rolex.

If the whole focus had just been on the desperately sad events and that a young man was missing and then lost his life, nothing would've been commented on.I read about the last message and the mum part of me did feel sad at the thought of Jay typing that message out knowing he wasn't going to make it. Being lost, in the heat and knowing he could not get help
Then the Tattler part of me read Debbie describe the message as 'flying around' and pictured the eagles, drones and a text message
Oh I am bound straight for hell, no doubt!
However, the family behaviour, the friends behaviour, brought a different kind of attention.
And, then rapids boy, scooter girl and the cactus got involved. That was a whole world of shenanigans that was just beyond comprehension.

Funny how DownTheRapids didn't get asked to come to the inquest, given all The Good He Did. Almost like he was just fannying round by the side of the road the other side of a mountain not doing a proper grid search in between burger runs

It was a very weird documentary im not gonna lie.
However seeing the videos of him at the end when he was 4/5 made me cry. Possibly because I have a 4yo so things like this maybe hit different because I have kids.

You can almost see what happened.
Overdid it on MDMA, went off with some people he didn’t know particularly well. .
Left them and wandered in the wrong direction and got more and more dehydrated and disoriented and then fell.
I honestly think the simplest answer is the right one here.
But hearing 2005 as his year of birth got me. My son is a 2002 baby and all I could think was “god he was still so young.”
Sounds like he was getting his life together as he was working,
So he went on holiday and took drugs….so what. Thousands of youngsters do the same every year and this absolutely should not been held against Jay.
It feeds into the incident and his death but that’s all .
God bless his Mum, god knows how I’d cope in her situation.

He was obviously a total cretin but there is something so dodgy about all this. Now she says in these interviews she doesn’t even know the air b and b men, never met them a day in her life but Brad described them as “mates” multiple times including in the sky news interview. The men also say they know her and have each other on socials. There is obviously something else going on here that’s being covered up. If it was my son, scum bag or not I couldn’t live with all the unknowns and lies coming from all his own friends and never knowing the truth

I'm impressed that they got Dr Richard Shepherd to do the autopsy. If anyone is interested in true crime, pathology etc his book Unnatural Causes is brilliant. I listened to it on audiobook and kept making excuses to do more housework to listen to it 
It’s almost as if they didn’t want it to stop about Jay and the conspiracy theories online by agreeing to film this documentary . It gave no new information at all and it confirmed they are rinsing as much money out of this as possible.
if they really cared and meant that , they should let the kid rest in peace now . The autopsy was disgusting to be filmed and the body under the white sheet. no way in any circumstance would I want a friend or family member exposed like that on tv . the cannons & filming his funeral in the church was tacky,

Yay this thread is still going! Though did read the guy above has been found already, second one in a week in tenerife missing from Tramps then found not long after. 20 years ago I would be missing from Tramps for a good 12 hours and wake up with a hangover in a random hotel room, now you wake up with your face missing on social media
