People have come on here to say that in Australia, she was sweet enough but quite shy, distant, socially awkward and valued family over everything else. (Oh how that's changed lol)
She has admitted in the past that she has a "sister wound" and has issues with making female friends so this is probably why she's a loner now. As we know, Jasmine always thinks she's correct and perfect whilst everyone else around her is the issue which is why she doesn't bother working on this.

Like when Jasmine is fixated on something, she'll do everything in her being to either hide or control to have her own way.

Jasmine has even said that her mom introduced her to life coaching. I do think young Jasmine was highly influenced from her mom because she was clueless in what to do with her life. I think you've absolutely hit the nail on the head. They're probably well aware of how dubious her business and relationship with Josh is but don't want to rock the boat. Or maybe they've actually expressed their concern and Jasmine wasn't happy with their response. Could explain why she's so hesitant to go back to Australia and visit her family anytime soon which is a stark contrast to how much she treasured and loved her family before.
She's also openly admitted to cutting off numerous family members due to them speaking out on her lifestyle. She's just a very selfish little girl with a "my way or the highway" mentality.

Also I doubt Jingjing will respond. Unlike her daughter, she's not glued to social media and isn't very active and doesn't seem very tech savvy either, she's always asking for help bless her lol. I don’t think her family benefits from her financially at all, I didn’t know about her father going into finance, she said her parents met at university in China because he won a scholarship and he speaks good Mandarin and it’s very possible that her father may have changed his career path for some reason after all they became parents in their early twenties maybe getting into carpentry business was a feasible option for him.
