Their lavish lifestyle has to be seen against the backdrop of Indonesia's enormous wealth inequality, a barely livable minimum wage and the influx of foreigners to Bali that drives up the cost of living. It is far cry from the idyllic spiritual healing experience that Westerners romanticize.

Idk if people know of the "clean girl beauty" trend on TikTok but that's the vibe Jasmine used to give me, she always looked so put together, tidy and classy. Such a fall from her former days.

Someone tell Jasmine and all girls like her that it's not cute or interesting to not clean your living space. Cooking yeah I can understand not everyone enjoys it but cleaning? Come on
When your house is literally infested with bugs and rats, you have a serious issue. I've spent time in south east Asia and never had this issue so it's definitely a fault on her part.

I think she associates cooking and cleaning with her former good girl persona. Cooking featured a lot on her channel (I just did a quick check and her love for cooking and cleaning appears in most videos) she used to talk about how much she enjoyed making a meal for herself (although we know the backstory behind this now). I even remember when Josh first appeared on her channel, she said she'd love to be a housewife for him and just cook and clean for him all day (can't find the video now, she seems to have deleted or unlisted lots of her old videos unfortunately). Her room was always tidy and spotless too. I guess in Jasmines mentally ill state, she associates being domestic with being a good girl.

Girl bosses don't cook and clean, they have chefs and maids for that I guess

In Jasmine's own words, tidy space=tidy mind. Her dirty surroundings indicate a lot regarding her mental health, same with her physical appearance. The 'miscarriage', cheating manchild husband and failing business can do that to you I guess.

No wonder this girl is friendless. Imagine cancelling a hangout with her and instead of talking it out like normal well-adjusted adults, you see that she cusses you out on social media instead . Slightly off topic, but I think she is really lacking proper socialization. She's never had a large group of friends or been in situations where she's been forced to interact with many different people--and it really shows. She doesn't seem to have a good understanding of what is socially appropriate and what is considered rude or abrasive. I'm sure she's read many books on emotional development but putting that into practice in real life (with people other than your spouse) is a very different situation! Oh my goodness those stories absolutely shocked me. Insanely rude, aggressive, and immature. Not to mention all the (rather unnecessary) f bombs… Really shows how little experience Jasmine has with working with brands & other influencers.

As someone who did a brief stint in brand management, I have also had this happen to me multiple times. Influencers are notoriously flakey, it’s not a personal attack, just a byproduct of their hectic schedules. Influencers who are large enough to have their own PR teams often don’t have a say in scheduling their own days - it’s all handled by the PR rep. In Jasmine’s case, maybe the influencer was simply too busy or their PR team failed to schedule in the podcast meeting. Did Jasmine do her due diligence in following up with the PR team a week or day prior to the podcast being filmed? I doubt it, considering that she said she only reached out 30 minutes into the podcast filming. This is standard practice that she would have known if she had even a tiny bit of corporate or formal work experience.

Being inexperienced at this stuff is totally fine! Everyone has to learn from their own experiences. However, her reaction was EXTREMELY inappropriate and unprofessional. She didn’t do her due diligence and has the audacity to not only blame the other influencer, but cuss them out!!
Swearing at other people is never okay, especially when all they did was miss a meeting. She also wasn’t very generous in assuming that the influencer purposely skipped out on the podcast - again, it could very well be a mistake made by the PR team. Maybe the influencer had an emergency come up. She could at least reach out to them privately to see what actually happened before putting them on blast on social media. Now after she’s posted that story, it’s unlikely that the influencer will be interested in working with her in the future… Was burning bridges really necessary over such a minor inconvenience?

I’ve said this time and time again, but this is yet another example of Jasmine acting completely emotionally immature and toxic, taking things personally and making it all about her and her needs. Jasmine, are you proud of this? It is clear that your intention was to publicly humiliate this influencer, but all you really did was show your audience how reactionary and unprofessional you are…

I get that she feels like she’s lived her whole life as a “good girl” people pleaser and wants to branch away from this identity, but girl… cussing people out is NEVER okay, especially when she didn’t even reach out to the influencer first to reschedule or get a private apology.

When I hear Jasmine lament how she suppressed her boundaries and says things like “I thought having sexual fantasies was bad” I feel bad how sheltered she was.

I feel like a lot of these topics she shares with her audience is obvious. Everyone goes through these experiences and shares these thoughts with friends.

Jasmine could have accelerated her growth if she opened herself up earlier and did “normal” things like going to parties as a teenager and have alcohol, etc. And realize that not everything is black and white. Instead she has a holier than thou attitude and has a very stunted mindset.

This is why I have thoughts about her marriage to Josh being so rushed. She didn’t get to experience normal 20 year old things that shapes you and makes you wiser. She learns them from an analytical sense rather than experienced sense if that makes sense.

She’s still on that path to being very naive imo.

Her entire business model is so incredibly odd. She shares deeply personal things about her struggles, her sexuality, her marriage, sharing play by play stories of her day to her queens. Yet she gets annoyed when people resonate with her stories and want to build a deeper connection by talking to her and ask her for friendly advice. Those "sisters" all of a sudden become "clients".

In my humble opinion, anything you personally share online is fair game for people to discuss and speculate. For example, Jasmine actively doesn't discuss her father (I know his name but out of respect, won't use it) and Jade, so therefore we don't talk about them or if we do, keep it at a minimum.

She wants to desperately build sisterhoods and friendships because she doesn't have any irl yet she simultaneously holds her clients at arm's length, giving them cut and paste responses and charges them insane amounts not caring whether or not they are in genuine pain and need help or not. The way she switches from friendly sister Jasmine to callous businesswoman Jasmine is weird.

Either do one or the other. Lower your prices and be more relatable and approachable or stop with the personal stories and act purely like a business, only responding with automated messages. You can't have your cake and eat it Jasmine.

And in one of the slides she says "this is not your safe space" yeesh that's cold. What happened to "beautiful community"? Or is that community now only available once you pay to play? You can find plenty more positive and welcoming communities online for free. That's literally the whole point of social media! It's social! Not that Jasmine knows what that means

What does she know about growing your online following when her following has been stagnant/falling for years now. Maybe if she ran this course a few years ago on how to grow a travel YouTube channel, then maybe it would've made sense.

If I wanted to know how to attract "soulmate clients" (already discussed how problematic this term is) I'd actually probably look into Emmy Joy, she had a fraction of the followers with a lively, soulful group of girls at her retreat. Or maybe I'd look into Mariana who had less than Jasmine's followers but has now overtaken her and again, has thriving successful retreats and meaningful interactions with her fans.

And engagement? Don't make me laugh. Her posts gets about 500-700 likes against 48,000 followers, that's about 1.5%. The only posts that get higher engagement are where she trauma dumps and pulls out the whole ED sob story over and over again. She has nothing fresh or organic to offer. When she did try something new like the dance reels, they flopped terribly.

Not to mention the retreat where she only got a third of her goal

The worst part is, she's aware of it and very defensive of it which is why she says normal metrics are "outdated".

Let's say we weren't talking about numbers, she says you'll learn how to be authentic and to not preach things you haven't integrated. That's literally exactly what she does! Just talks out of her arse after reading about something for 5 minutes. That's why most if not all of her points aren't fleshed out and seem very juvenile/one dimensional
