James earns loads doing cameo, easy money, just sending a short message .Who is their management now that Gleam is no more? I've only watched a few of their vlogs as they didn't interest me enough to watch more regularly, but I saw James on Twitch a few times and got the impression that he's quite money-orientated.
Clair was a FHM 'High Street Honeys' finalist in 2007. She said she wanted to win so that she didn't have to get a real job
Im starting to wonder if their management team is telling James to play to the camera and be over the top. It seems since the vlog just before Christmas when they apologised for the VW vlog/Ad,James appears much more full on,Claire doesn't seem much different. These last two vlogs he's been so irritating and loud.
I think it's all just a front with him to hide his nerves/awkwardness
Yes I think you're right. When hes on tv bring interviewed he comes across as very akward, not particularly good at communicating

I watched this weeks vlog with my partner and he noticed how it was Claires birthday and Mothers day,yet lazy James didnt make her a coffee or help with the laundry. James wants to always be centre of attention so sometimes doesn't come across well with his behaviour towards Claire. My birthday is the same as Claires,I was treated so well by my partner and boys,I felt bad for Claire .James priority was to film the gift for content and low key brag he spent a lot on the gift. I also noticed he can be quite tight fisted until it comes to spending money on himself he admitted to not seeing the cost when buying himself clothes.

I thought the gift of a real human skull was horrible. I wouldn't have it in the house as I think it would be bad luck or something.
I have to admit I found it disrespectful, As a nurse I know how important it is for people to donate their bodies to science when they pass, but then for parts of their body to then be sold off for decoration is disgraceful. The person may have died in the 1960s,but its still important to remember he was a person and not just a skull for morbid fascination and be used as a decoration. I have an issue with someone profiting from the sale of the skull

I was looking up sites that sell them (which I disagree with anyway) and it's quite strictly regulated. You need a licence to buy one and there are only certain circumstances they can be displayed. Not sure having one on your bookcase counts.
I sometimes think Clare's interest in the macabre is a bit shoved on anyway tbh. I hate that serial killer mug she has. She seems to find all that stuff glamorous for some reason.

I know half of it is put on for the camera, and we only see a small fraction of their lives, but have to say the dynamic of their marriage is really putting me off watching them. James does nothing. Literally nothing. He mows the lawn, that’s it. He doesn’t know how to cook basic foods, clean anything, organise their lives. Nothing. So many times Clair says something about just doing a chore herself because it’s easier than trying to get James to do it. I get that he makes the money (although she’s 50% of the vlog & podcast now, and does the editing), but this isn’t the 1950s.
Yes it was the skull of someone who passed away in the 1960s and left his body to science. Now 50 plus years later his skull has been sold as an ornament. I think she likes to appear 'edgy' all the true crime serisl killers,skulls and celeb name dropping feeds that image
I really agree. I've tried to be really open minded ( which for me is a stretch already because I can't do anything horror at all) and for the most part I could get past it but the mug and some of the shirts perplex me, and now this with the skull. Granted, I know it's not a gift she asked for, and probably didn't want to hurt any of their feelings because the boys were just as excited as James, but it was really really..... it didn't strike me right. I wouldn't display that or even own it even if you paid me a very large sum because it just feels like that persons remains should be resting at peace somewhere.
I'm really relieved they didn't do a branch-off channel with her talking about all that, it seemed like it'd have been a shoehorn.
The latest thing that's bothered me are these hella staged questions "viewers" are sending to their podcast. They always sound so scripted and are clearly just to generate a "hot topic" discussion. That and the paid ski trip and how many reels they've been churning out since they visited YT HQ shortly after xmas and you can tell James is eager to get numbers and engagement up. It can only get less authentic from here I fear...
James was pushing for Claire to start a true crime/horror channel,because he probably saw ÂŁsigns. Claire has little interest in social media as a form of income because of the work it would involve on a regular basis. Claire enjoys her homelife but doesnt seem as invested in the social media public side,unless it involves freebies,James probably sees social media as a steadier income compared to acting for him. I agree that since the YT HQ visit and definitely a management company,they sometimes come across as creating content rather than the natural old style content. Must admit I cant stand some of the 'celeb mates ' Danny Dyer fake loud mouth hard man, Diane Bussell and Joe Sugg,she's too loud wants to be centre of attention. I really like their neighbours who they socialise with, those vlogs seem more relatable and natural

Also he seems quite close with Alfie Deyes as well. You're right, Diane gets on my nerves a lot too
eeehhhhhh cringe this podcast episode with Danny and Jo was painful to listen to them talk about, truly was wincing through the short segment I saw.
