I do appreciate shes working to dismantle weight prejudice (allegedly lol I can’t comment as haven’t listened to her podcast etc) however she does seem to pop herself in that bracket too. Not that women of all sizes don’t face discrimination but it feels like she lumps herself into the plus size category almost sometimes when she’s not a bit overweight. Appreciate in showbiz things are note extreme and perhaps she is slightly bigger than many other women in the industry however to anyone watching she’s a beautiful slim woman. I get the feeling she has never been big in the past either so idk... its great to advocate for change but she has no idea what it’s like to actually be that bigger size so should act more like it. It’s a bit patronising otherwise To those who really ARENT thin and have to deal with it on a daily basis

She is typical of this type of woman who always only has 1 or 2 friends at a time who are always heavier than her. They will constantly moan that they have put on weight or that they wish they could fit into those jeans from 10 years ago. They are just looking for validation and even if they do put on some pounds they will still be in the right weight. They will tell their friends that they look good the way they are and never actively encourage them to lose weight even if it’s mentioned by said friend. Jamila is just doing it on a much larger scale.

She parades around in front of the camera and seems to love all the attention being focused for her benefit alone. Thin and privleged.....life goals! LOL!

I do know what you mean when you say white people are openly hated, but for me it’s a social media thing. I listen to a lot of American podcasts and follow similar Instagram accounts and it’s becoming the norm to constantly stereotype and talk in a derogatory way about white people in order to highlight racism against black people. It’s not a society wide thing, no, because, white privilege still exists and black people are unfortunately still at a huge disadvantage because of racism. But it doesn’t make this poster ‘Nigel Farage’ to point out that in American social media being white (especially a white woman over 40) is less than desirable and looked down upon.

Her Instagram stories are probably gone now but check Twitter, there might be some shite still on there. She basically was saying how disappointed she was that detoxes were being highlighted again and you definitely got the sense that she felt very personally let down by Lizzo

She knows nothing. There's another word other than pseudo-intellectual that I saw but its just not coming to me now. Its when someone just studies the surface and minimal of knowledge and speaks about the subject as if they know everything. The kind who do a quick skim read of newspapers and then lecture others.

Its proven with jameela she just latches onto the buzzwords and current affairs to jump on the bandwagon. There is nothing she has brought attention to of focused on that wasn't in the news first or hadn't been spoken about on social media before she decided to become the self righteous saviour of the cause. Her most recent was the india farmers protest, which as an Indian, I've known about the economic struggles of farmers for years and suicides and the class war. Stay the duck away from this jj, you don't know anything. She only jumped on it as social media started about it.
