Awful. And she’s made money off the back of tit like that.this is one of the receipts I tried when times were hard and I had a weaning baby. It was vile and made me more depressed.

I met Jamie Oliver when I was a teenager (like 20 years or so!) as my friends Mum worked as a publisher. He was the hot thing at the time, and he was really nice to me and my friend. He’s a bit of a large tongue’d Tory, but he was nice then and I like his wife’s kids clothing line!I don't really know much about Jamie Oliver, but I feel sad for him with this. "Be kind" is clearly only when it suits people..
I'm all for people being called out when they have done something crappy, but all he has done is accepted a job? If she was in the ring for the job and they decided they didn't want her then why should he not take the job? I really hope she doesn't end up getting a show/co host out of this. Really disgusting behaviour.
Chickpeas and couscous is not a meal!Has anyone seen her tweet where someone has posted ingredients for her keyworker daughter and asked Jack for advice? I want to tell her just because you can mix foods together, doesn’t mean you should!
that’s exactly what I said!Chickpeas and couscous is not a meal!![]()
Exactly. He was offered a job and accepted it. Why on earth should he look around to see if there are other candidates? Frankly I would trust his recipes far more than her's anyway. Her food is, well, joyless. As Crocodile Dundee said - 'Yes you can eat it. But it tastes like tit'.I don't really know much about Jamie Oliver, but I feel sad for him with this. jamie Oliver’s cookbooks are the only ones that I have bought, and they have stayed in my book collection. Ministry of Food helped me so much as a student!Exactly. I was a student from 1991-94 and had a "cookery book" that was all about using cans and cheap store cupboard ingredients to make meals. I was initially intrigued by her concept but frankly I think her recipes are awful and taste of despair. I feed my family cheaply but well because it is what working class women and peasant women have done since time began.God she's a twit. She didn't invent cooking using tins. JO is a huge name, of course he's more likely to get the gig than her. Her presenting style is dreadful, very nervy and unsure of herself, puts you on edge watching it.
