Jamie Oliver had a big controversy a year or two ago when he published a jollof rice recipe, heavily personally adapted. He was accused of cultural appropriation, taking a Afro-Caribbean staple dish, changing it and profiting from that as if he had come up with it himself without any recognition of it’s importance in the community it comes from.

That was my first time getting to know her too but Lord, she's either been a very good actress from the start or she's gotten worse the bigger her name gets. Either/or but it's very hard to find a way to like her.

I have no idea if she’s taken from other blogs. I know she often says she’s adapted X recipe from Nigella or Jamie Oliver or whoever. I do rate the recipes they were a huge help when I was in financial difficulty.

It wasn't that long ago Jack was engaged to someone else, and she is famously very.... flighty. Can't say I would blame the current partner for being cautious.
