It's testament to her total lack of self-reflection that she makes these big claims about what she's going to do when she's shown literally zero ability to stick to a goal in her life before, ever. It achieves nothing besides making her look a bigger liar and arsehole each time.
I'm shite at doing things to a schedule or deadline, so I adapt my life accordingly. I don't over-promise, particularly not on things that are important to other people. If I do promise something, I make sure it's done. I work a job with flexible hours so I can float around as I please and still earn a living. I don't plan my life based on the idea I'm going to wake up tomorrow and have a brand new personality and willpower that I've shown no evidence of in the past 4 decades.
I know her issues are a personality disorder, and by definition they are impervious to logic, but it blows my mind how she can do so little and still fuck it up spectacularly.
