Top honours this thread must go to our two favourite narcissists @BenignNarcissist and @MissNarcissus who went above and beyond ninny duty and went to see guest in the flesh. We salute you.

They reported amongst other things:
* Guest's parents lived on cold baked beans
* Guest needs 850 daily alarms to remind her to do normal things.
* She is a mother hen to a team who are working on the VBI as we speak.
* Sinister supermarket forces tried to undermine and derail the VBI by lowering their prices. Utter utter guys. And to be fair it worked and did derail it.

Her comments at the talk about having to write things down to act like a “normal human” are so over egged. Writing lists and reminders is a super common thing for people with adhd - my partner with adhd does this all the time but he doesn’t make it a big special personality trait, it’s simply just a good tool to help keep things on track. Not in any way minimising adhd - I know it can be very difficult to live with at times - but she acts like she’s so special and maverick for doing this and it’s almost like she fetishises the condition, and has to be the MOST adhd and the MOST unique in order to garner sympathy from whatever audience she’s holding captive. Her other comment about how we do 850 things a day also rings a massive bell to me - like I’ve definitely read it before on Reddit or seen a tweet about it at some point…could she have plagiarised this little revelation??

I've been thinking for a while that "Jack Monroe" is such a toxic brand that she might be better off going back to her roots. She could spin it as "Jack Monroe was never me, it was this person I found myself having to be, to separate the true authentic me from the persona who had to keep telling lie after lie to satisfy the media machine."
