Yup. I was political a bit earlier (got burn out). Joined Labour in the days of John Smith, became branch secretary in a former mining village, complete with formerly communist councillors (who told me off because I dissed Blair as too right wing in a meeting!), organised the local devolution campaign, ended up in a party documentary about it as I was at the celebration in Parliament Square, taking the piss out of Jack McConnell and wiping my hand after Blair forced me to shake his (they cut that bit!). Gave that up after Blair dumped Clause 4 and took the party to the right, and started to vote SNP. I then became union steward at my work until made redundant by my work, suspiciously so according to some managers. What has Jack actually bloody done except been a talking head who crapped herself at the first opportunity when she realised that politics at grass roots level requires actually requires work? Does she even help her local party campaign? My friend's children were at party meetings as toddlers and delivering leaflets by themselves near their home by the time they were SB's age.I consider myself left wing. A socialist I campaigned for Scottish independence in 2014. While Jack was on twitter with her fake Scottish Indy account. That basically involved tramping the streets in the pissing rain delivering thousands of leaflets. I also manned polling stations at council and general elections. I delivered supporters letters. It is tedious. But you do it because you believe in a cause.
Jack? And don’t say you couldn’t because of your kid. I know of five year olds who delivered leaflets in 2014 with their mum.

It was in the original list darling heart of mine, but I haven't been able to update it due to having to rescue a pup. This is another one who was dumped in the campo near here, our 4th this year. I collected this baby mastin/German Shepherd baby at about 8am on Saturday and guess what, Jack, he was at the vet by 10am. He was full of ticks, anaemic and starving so I've been spending quite a lot of time liking, loving and laughing at all your clever posts but the one thing that I haven't been able to do was engage in on-line wars with imaginary enemies (or posting photos of £60 teapots) or trying to treat him myself. Anyway, long story short, I have managed to find Baby Jake a lovely new home but he will be staying here until he's a bit better. The little shit has also chewed through the lead to my laptop, tipped eleventytwo bowls of water over and poohed on the bed.

Yes, she apparently upped and left out of the blue. Although not before Jack had made a series of snarky passive aggressive references to her in the preceding weeks, including apparently blaming her for the failure in Jack’s tech when she did DKR. That was just Twitter, so I can only imagine what sort of tantrums and rages were going on in real life.According to Jack she just upped and walked out on her one day.
Undoubtedly there is a lot more to it than that.

This doc was recently nominated for a TV BAFTA, which Louisa announced on Insta. No response from Jack, although she has liked some other of Louisa’s posts. Jealous maybe? It wouldn’t surprise me at all if she were the type who couldn’t celebrate a partner’s successes, because it’s not about her.Jack's ex, Louisa Compton, who had the good sense to leave Jack and run for the hills, commissioned last year a Channel 4 doc on poverty. "Growing Up Poor" - about children in poverty and having troubles. It's quite funny to think - that Louisa was involved with Jack, having to listen to her pretend-poor life and all the bullshit - and she was thinking, "well I've done a doc on real poverty and it's nothing like your life"!
