You're right, it's the circumstances of it all. It's vile to put vulnerable women in that position with alcohol, no phones, an unfamiliar building etc.
You have to remember this was some mansion it happened in with 30 different rooms. It wasn’t a 2 bed terrace. It’s totally possible there were dozens of people there and this happened in another room and genuinely no one had a clue! I mean I’ve found out about friends hooking up at house parties in 3 bed semis and no one had a clue - let alone massive mansions with wings etc

This is true but its the scenario which is making people feel icky. Its likely they attend the parties for the drink, women and whatever else. The majority of attendees being rich, egotistical and power hungry guys amongst young/ not as young women. tit is likely to get out of hand, power is abused as are the women and to put yourself in that situation is naieve at best/ stupid if you know how a typical night like that might go. Im refrring to the footballers here not the women. I can't imagine they attend just for a piss up. Also can't imagine that mendy hasn't held similar parties which suggests they would have been aware how these nights run.

Hi lovelies! I’m a long time lurker who has always been terrified to join in the fun and convinced myself this morning that today was the day -_- stupid Gucci tit has disappointed me beyond belief. I was heartbroken for the victims when the story first broke but at least then it was just Mendy involved. Now I have this sick to my stomach feeling and I’m so grossed out by this boy. His poor mum and sisters - I would be gutted if my offspring had such an obvious lack of respect for women.
I can’t believe how visceral my reaction was to this news dropping earlier - I’ve been cheated on before and I felt exactly the same as I did then - like my blood ran cold and completely numb. I feel like an idiot for being so invested a random human but I really wanted better for him. I wanted him to prove the haters wrong and he just keeps giving them more tit to throw back at him.
Please don’t leave the chat - it’s been such a fun place to read and I’ve been through a really crappy year (another reason I was scared to join) and you girls and JG were my little corner of the internet to escape to. Feeling pretty bereft rn and selfishly really pissed off at him because I have tickets for the game on Monday and now he’s ruined all of that excitement for me the stupid prick.
