When I was about 7 or 8, I went to a birthday party and lost my jumper. I had everyone looking for it, and I insisted I had arrived wearing my favourite yellow jumper. After a while I suddenly realised I had not worn my yellow jumper, I had changed my mind shortly before leaving the house.

Me having to own up to everyone looking for my jumper that was not there at all
