Not unreasonable to think that may have been his last opportunity to play for England in a major tournament too as he's 29 soon.

Southgate has hated him even when he was playing for Villa, shocked he’s not going to be in the squad, deserved a chance! Also thoughts and prayers for S too who won’t be getting her hot girl wag summer, Gareth spoiling everyone’s fun, hope it doesn’t come back to bite him on the arse!

What was the point in Southgate selecting him in the original 33. He gave him 20 mins the other night to show him what he offers and he did exactly that. Not sure what else he could of done to impress. Southgate is a #£%*
