Your comparison to the real world of work is so true.I just read the whole thread and lowkey he's digging himself a hole, it doesn't sound any better with an explanation, the explanation really wasn't good. I know you're not going to connect with everyone you work with but in a normal work context it's like posting on your LinkedIn about a project you worked on and saying "but I didn't connect with one colleague in particular", singling someone out is just not a very nice thing to do. Plus no one is entitled to a follow back. Idk man, it's a bit of a misguided thing to say and he really should've taken the whole thing out of the video
Just because people ask drama-inspiring questions on your Q&As, doesn't mean you have to answer them. Some things are worth being candid about, e.g. mental health, others it's perfectly fine & preferred to keep to yourself.
