You can defo see the Keelin influence in the intro, but tbh I can only watch Jenny's Vlogs when she's going around doing things, I can't watch 40 minutes of talking to the camera and answering questions.
I'm gonna play devil's advocate and say it must have been draining being in a really toxic friendship where Jenny and Lindsay were both so afraid of anyone younger being "indier" and cooler than them, so even if one of them may have secretly liked the person they both just resolved to slagging them together because they never let their guard down with each other and were happier being seen as mean girls.
I do feel like since Jenny and Lindsay's friendship ended they have been able to seperately collaborate with people they would have previously been united in avoiding and/or secretly feeling intimidated by eg. Jenny with Keemon (after the beef), Lindsay with Lauren Bejaoui - so when I see Jenny collaborating with anyone new I just see it as character development away from the toxic shitshow of a friendship she was part of.
Lindsay's sought out some interesting people for collabs but always comes back to regular pods with the more outrageous co-host Shauna who says controversial stuff - which to be honest I think just sets Linsday back if she's really trying to move past her controversial era. If not then she's right on brand!

I just hate how inauthentic it feels when they’re acting like giggly mates but they didn’t know basic details about Jenny’s life even when getting her on their pod. The fakeness reminds me of when itgals were fawning over Sophie Murray saying she was fashion queen of Dublin only to ag her off on the pod for months after because she put up a post saying she wouldn’t associate with anything that would offend people. Just seems like a facade for the sake of recording and hard to take any of the questions as genuine interest
It is strange tactic that Lindsay is leaning into controversy like mcgregor tit for publicity and click bait but I feel like that’s always been her way to draw in people by being offensive/controversial now maybe she’s using shauna to do that for her!

I re listened to the itgalz episode with keemon earlier this week and dear God I forgot how unsufferable they could be. Like genuinely listening to them go on and on and on about following and unfollowing and all that crap with a girl 10 years younger than them was just mind boggling. L was a mom of two at the time and in her 30s and J late 20s with a career and longterm partner and yet they fully held an hour long conversation about that childish crap.
J was particularly in extreme know it all vibes that episode too and at one point said whatever if people unfollow her it's probably just cause she's so hot

It was interesting to hear Jenny talk about her fear of going back to a normal 9-5 after choosing her hours for so long when ItGalz ended so promptly. It's something I always wondered about with people like her, Lucy Fitz and Keeling Moncrieff complaining of having no income at times. It's either that they think they're above it or they have just found that you can make more money and have more free time..
