I really do hope that AW is found guilty of all charges she most definitely knew. Manipultive witch. As far as I can see she posted a new picture of her new hair done 12th September on Facebook her wee girl was brutally murdered the next day. Already suffering the most brutal amount of abuse and she knew took part in it or turned a blind eye. Going by dates her new hair seemed more important and her alcohol consumption. Hope some justice is served here. Not that it will bring back this innocent little child. Agree Bio dad doesn't seem up to much as any father. BUT this is one Manipultive witch playing the victim still if she had one shred of decency in her as a mother she would admit she knew and she saw these bruises. But continues playing the victim. Really hope these 2 get sorted out in prison.
It beggars belief doesn't it,how can she call herself a mother .

The mother has been charged with sexual assaulting her also
I’m curious what evidence they have on her for this as it seems it wasn’t part of her original charge but it was added at the second hearing

The prosecution have pretty convincingly proved that physicsl happened while she was on her own with Isabelle as well as when he was with her. The neighbour hesrd bangs suggesting abuse while HS was not there. She wasn’t an onlooker who allowed it, she was actively involved in the abuse. She knew her baby was being grape, but it depends on whether the jury view that as guilt for the sex assaults or not.

She may not get guilty for the sex abuse alone, but she will for everything else. I think HS will get about 35 years and she 29. That’s optimistic though, may well be less.

A jury has resumed its deliberations in the trial of a mum and her boyfriend accused of murdering a two-year-old toddler.

Alexandra Walker and Harrison Simpson were charged with murder and serious sexual offences after Isabelle Welsh endured weeks of alleged abuse.
Teesside Crown Court heard the two-year-old suffered 21 fractured bones and about 100 bruises or cuts on her body before she sustained a catastrophic bleed on the brain.
It is the prosecution's case the youngster suffered horrendous abuse at the hands of both defendants before she died in September last year.
They maintain that both were responsible for inflicting the multitude of injuries within weeks of them becoming a couple.
Both defendants deny responsibility and blame each other for causing the death of Isabelle inside her home on Hartington Close, Thornaby.
During her evidence, Walker blamed Simpson for sexually abusing and murdering her daughter.
Simpson declined the opportunity to give evidence in his defence.
Earlier, jurors had looked at computer-generated images cataloguing the bruising and scratching covering the toddler’s entire body.
Simpson, 22, of Greenham Close in Thorntree, Middlesbrough, and 26-year-old Walker, of Hartington Close in Thornaby, both deny murder.
The pair also deny four other charges involving Isabelle, including: causing or allowing the death of a child on September 14; two counts of assault by penetration between September 10 and September 14 last year; and cruelty to a person under 16.
The trial continues.

Thank you. I thought it might be a short deliberation but looks like not. The reporting on the case seems to have been very disjointed so maybe there is a lot more to discuss than we have read.

I hope they are just dotting the I and crossing the T and not considering letting either of these walk free, its probably stuck on the HS will be found guilty on all charges i just hope the same happens to AW.

Honestly thought there would be a verdict today.

Article from the Northern Echo:

A mum and her boyfriend have been found guilty of murdering a two-year-old toddler.

Isabelle Welsh suffered weeks of sexual and physical abuse before sustaining a fatal brain injury when her head was smashed against a solid object.

Teesside Crown Court heard how she went from a happy and mischievous child to a shell of her former self within weeks of her mother's new boyfriend coming into her life.

Her mum Alexandra Walker was found guilty of her daughter's murder by a majority verdict. The 26-year-old was also convicted of child cruelty but cleared of assault by penetration.

While Walker's boyfriend, Harrison Simpson, was unanimously convicted of murder, assault by penetration and child cruelty.

A jury took less than two days to convict the pair after listening to weeks of harrowing evidence outlining the abuse the young girl suffered.

The court heard how Isabelle suffered 21 fractured bones and almost 100 bruises and abrasions over a two month period.

Both defendants denied responsibility and blamed each other for causing the death of Isabelle inside her home on Hartington Close, Thornaby, last September.

During her evidence, Walker blamed Simpson for sexually abusing and murdering her daughter.
She told the court that she had searched her boyfriend's name on the internet to check to see whether he was a convicted paedophile.

Simpson declined the opportunity to give evidence in his defence.

Isabelle was found unconscious at her home when paramedics were called and they discovered the two-year-old was "gravely unwell and her heart had stopped beating".

She was taken to hospital but died in the early hours of September 14, last year, after suffering a fractured skull and brain damage.

Opening the prosecution case in June, Richard Wright KC said: “The mechanism of that injury involved Isabelle being violently shaken with her head and spine flexing and over extending, with her head impacting a hard and unyielding surface such as a wall or the floor.

“This was no accident. It was the deliberate infliction of injury on that little girl.”

Mr Wright said there appeared to be some "tension" between Walker and her mother when the grandmother raised concerns about an injury to Isabelle's face.

In CCTV footage, Walker's mother could be heard saying - 'I'm not being funny but she looks like she has been abused'.

After leaving, Claire Walker messaged her daughter to tell her how worried she was about the condition of her granddaughter.

Within days of the conversation, Isabelle suffered her fatal head injury and died despite the best efforts of medics to save her young life.

The Honourable Ms Justice Norton told the defendants that they will be sentenced on Thursday.

She said they were facing an automatic life sentence but she will impose a minimum term of imprisonment for both defendants.

I don't understand as a mother you could let a man harm your baby or join in I'd have stabbed the sick b. However I wouldn't let a random man move into my house scumbags.

Thank God- but it brings home how these things are happening repeatedly and ‘lessons’ are not being learned. RIP sweet little girl.
