We don’t actually know that he didn’t do that. The fact he wasn’t seeing her doesn’t mean he didn’t. It’s possible he had and it was still working it’s way through the courts. Although looking at him, he obviously doesn’t have any money and clearly isn’t the brain of Britain. I doubt he had the money and capability to to know he could do this, fill in all the forms, afford a solicitor for court order or navigate the system himself and even if he had, he would probably have been expected to regularly pay for a very expensive supervised contact centre himself, which he almost certainly couldn’t have afforded. And I don’t think for a moment he realised something so awful would happen to Isabelle. Many men lose contact with their kids, it’s very common, usually there a few consequences aside from destroying the relationship. The kids grow up healthy and happy and they’re fine.
I just hate this modern trend of going round the victims family and digging up info on people who are also victims and not the accused and saying awful things about them. I’m sure his regret over it tortures him every day, I don’t think he deserves people digging up tit on him and picking over his family’s lack of education and misfortunes for kicks.
