It’s not old but I don’t find it particularly young. Young for me is under 20..
Although our lives are different, I can relate to a lot of what you've saidi'm 26 and have really mixed feelings about being this age.
i look back on my life so far and i've had an amazing time, i went to uni and did all the stuff youngsters do and it was the best time of my life. however i REALLY miss that way of life now i have a full time job, and it makes me feel like i'm regressing and holding onto the past. from age 23 until now i feel like my zest for life and happiness has skyrocketed downhill. but in the grand scheme of things, i really am still so young, nobody really knows what they're doing or where they're going to be.
i still live with my parents but i have a full time job, albeit a bit of a "bottom of the pile" job and only bring in around £1400 a month, i have aspirations to be on 25k+ a year by the time i'm 30, but i understand this is probably not going to be feasible
i'll just keep plodding on and hope things will get better, but aging really scares me
