I think that *right now* they are trying this tactic of ignoring it and hoping for the best, but it will become increasingly obvious to both of them that it's not something which will be forgotten, and they're not going to be able to carry on as usual.
I actually watched that BBC3 documentary yesterday and it's really hard going, but probably worth it if you can stomach it (I had to keep pausing it and walking away for wee breaks as it's so sickening / rage-inducing).
I’m so angry no newspapers are really covering this, I really am losing total faith in the british media tbh, it’s an absolute outrage. Unless I read tattle I doubt I’d even be aware of this at all

I’m still utterly shocked by the whole thing, the offences, the mitigation of drinking and relationship, the sentencing, the absolute lack of appropriate press coverage, and the continued access on one hand to a column that never mentions the situation and on the other to the fact that, I’m repeating my own words, a convicted paedophile sex offender is still PUBLICLY using social media. God knows what’s going on in private use.

When you think of the absolute witch hunts there have been of people in this country over less, it’s just absolutely nauseating. I am so cross.
Yes! For example remember Christopher Jeffries, around 10 years ago he was wrongly accused of murdering his young female tenant in Bristol. He was absolutely raked across the gutter press because he looked a bit eccentric. His life was ruined by this apparently. And he was totally innocent.

Look at 2000 pictures of infants and children being abused... *virtual silence by same gutter press*

Yes, the programme called The Lost Honour of Christopher Jeffries was shown again on ITV in the last week. Do watch it if you haven’t already.

IK's mate, Sali Hughes was one of those on twitter who said he had the look of a murderer.

So, let's get this right. Sadistic serial killer and child abuser Rose West fine (Sali was having a good old laugh at a Rose West sofa cushion a few months ago). Christopher Jeffries, innocent man with a unfortunate hairdo, murderer and sicko.

I HATE when people say this, it’s so daily mail, as if appearances can reveal something like this. It always reminds me of people like ted Bundy and how the reaction seemed to be shocked that someone good looking could be a criminal 🙄 it also just lures people into a false sense of security imo

I wonder if she’ll post out her columns on Twitter this week. There’s been much more outrage on my twitter feed the last couple of days (especially with Eric happily tweeting as normal) I think any posts of hers will be inundated 😬.

I just don’t understand how she can stay with him unless she’s engaged in doublethink and somehow accepts it was an “accident”. Otherwise how could you?

If she's obliged to tweet out her columns (which seems likely since she's been doing it throughout her twitter hiatus), she could disable comments - I'm surprised she hasn't done this with her last few.

I watched something on Netflix about looks and attraction. One of the "experiments" on it was having actors pose as criminals- a less attractive one and an attractive one- and put it to a focus group what the sentencing would be. They were far more lenient on the attractive actors

India Knight # 2 faithful to her beloved ped*****

Can't remember if there is a more "family-friendly" version of that word since the actual word is not allowed on this site.
