Surely the powers that be (including her stepfather) have finally seen sense and decided that her moralising over fake grass while harbouring a paedophile is not going down well with the readership...
You would hope that would be the case, but the amount of comments, agreeing with her, regarding her fear and loathing of AstroTurf, Is astonishing.

Her columns have got more and more pointless over the years. I don't know if journalism has changed or if I've got older and crankier, but those lifestyle/opinion type columns just seem to have mushroomed and I have to skim over more and more of them to get to the decent bits of the paper. I mean, I have funnier, cleverer and more interesting friends than these dull, out of touch windbags, so why would I bother? Social media has really exposed a lot of them I think - when you think of that brutal but ultimately democratic place, Twitter, you really see how witty and incisive "civilians" can be and wonder at the positions held by certain well connected media people.
You are SO right. I see more wit, insight and brilliant comedy on Tattle Life than in a whole magazine filled with these stupid lifestyle columns. You can feel the entitled fools scrabbling around for something to write - heaven help their friends and family whose lives are plundered for copy. I find the whole Convicted Paedophile gets a free pass vis his wife is a columnist terrifying and sickening. How this woman can comment on anything is beyond me. I can only imagine she is lubricated with booze at all times.

Bet you anything she’s still there tomorrow. Hide like a rhino, plus she’s really mean and nasty, so the people at News UK who actually *need* a job won’t dare upsetting her.

it’s disgraceful.

We have AstroTurf from the prior owners. But my partner isn’t a paedophile. So, swings and roundabouts. Swings and roundabouts.

It’s good she doesn’t like it to be honest. It could become the pampas grass of paedophiles.

the comments under her fake grass tweet would certainly reinforce that

Their rarified world is an anachronism. Social media has democratised having an opinion, so they are increasingly irrelevant and look more and more foolish with the lofty declarations and judgments

You’re right. And she’s talking about sexual politics in the workplace. I just cannot fathom it.

some of the quotes are great. I truly believe that those commenting about the grass simply have no idea of who she is married to and what has happened.

Honestly, even if her column was filed in advance, the best thing to do would be an “India Knight is away”, rather than this monstrous not-so-tacit approach, at best “la la la I can’t hear you” at worst support and approval.

Totally sickening...

I couldn't get to the end of today's ST column, but the fact that she sees nothing wrong with Steve Easterbook's behaviour speaks volumes about why she hasn't kicked Joyce to the curb.

I couldn’t, either. I tried twice to read it but didn’t make it. Rough message seemed to be ‘your private life is of no consequence to your employer’ which suits her very well.

Oh FFS, she’s an absolute embarrassment. What the duck — such a tone deaf and gross piece. Of course she thinks that it’s fine because her fella was grooming his intern and then searching child abuse. Total monster.

But, Julie’s up.

Unless she is a sociopath how long does she keep this up? Unless she posts the link to her meaningless drivel, and instantly shuts off the internet until next time? This will go on forever won’t it?

And I am in the camp of women not being punished for the sins of their partners but I must admit I find this baffling.

only nepotism is getting her through this. Let’s be honest, it certainly isn’t talent.

That’s already been posted here and it is damning. I said earlier, upthread, that either he lied to his barrister or the barrister lied to the court.
