ha ha who was calling who weird ? And beef face ? were they calling us that ?oh the irony ...............
When Sali Hughes released her IG video about Tattle "bullying" there was a conversation with her and IK on Twitter and IK said (paraphrasing) they're just jealous because you're pretty and they probably have faces like sides of beef. She also said we were "married incels" and "skidmark people"

Not married India, but I don't feel the need to discuss details of my intimate life with my boyfriend! (I'm still shuddering over her comments about watching porn with catflap Eric)

I had a school friend who did so well at their Oxbridge interview that they were given a conditional offer of two Ds. He had no connections whatsoever, but they really wanted him. It does happen.

I'm not saying it didn't happen here, but it does happen.
That’s the normal route into Oxford - or at least was when I applied. You sat an exam - this was BEFORE you did your A Levels - and if you did well you got called for interview and then if they liked you, they’d give you an ‘unconditional offer’ which was usually two Ds at A Level or similar.
The difference with this Knight sister is that she’d already SAT her A Levels. Totally different and 100pc smacks of nepotism (surprise!) to me.

Her other sister is beautiful too. Can’t be easy. But there’s still no need to be so awful about other women because of it.
Yes, if the worst thing in your life is that your sisters are prettier than you I think you’re doing okay.
It certainly does NOT give you licence to be a massive bleeping witch to everyone in your life apart from another rather plain beauty writer.

Oh and I know it has been said before but lest we forget: IK said "E asked if you know where they live". SH: "literally, yes"

Most people would be alarmed if their partner said such a thing, even in "jest"

There was also this classic. India has been known to shout it at news reporters on the telly on occasion*.

Sali gave off the whole "knowledgeable big sister" vibe. She wanted people to believe she was a straight talking friendly beauty guru and she wanted people to look up to her. Hence the Facebook group and the forum (before she abandoned it when it became clear it wasn't going to be the money spinner it was expected to be). Many readers also met her at events. So it's a bit rich for India to say "stop talking about people you don't know"

If you don’t want people who don’t know you to talk about you, I would suggest a career in which you get paid to write endless boring articles and books based on your life probably isn’t the sensible choice

Does anyone remember this amazing Saturday night tweet? Day before the twitter silence that Caitlin Moran organised so was something to do with that.

Has anyone ever read one of her books? I haven't. I might have to break my rule to read her hômage to the Mitford's when it comes out (second hand obvs). You just know it is going to be appalling.
John Crace did digested reads of one or two.

That was terrible. I couldn't even find an appropriate meme to express myself and words fail me. Like they failed India.

She strikes me as a deeply unhappy woman who only feels good when she's slagging other people off and making herself feel superior. Looking forward to hearing what mental gymnastics she's done to turn Eric's situation into one she can come out looking smug from.

Mic Wright is the one who is suing Sarah Vine for insinuating he was a paedophile. That sport of writing from IK was dire.

I don’t think that was India’s writing, it was John Crace’s digested read of one of her books. He’s taken the plot and distilled it down into... that.
