the whole thing is very strange. He’s still tweeting, surely he realises that any causes or writers he retweets are not going to be served by his promotion of them?

Even taking into account lead times, I don’t think she’ll ever address the Eric Joyce issue in her regular column. She’ll either get a massive long think piece in the Saturday magazine about it (donating a fee to an abuse charity along the way) or she’ll stretch it into a whole book.
