I’m really surprised she hasn’t released a short statement saying “it happened years ago, he told me it was something else, I’m was shocked and sad he plead guilty but I’m even sadder for the victims. Eric and I are no longer together or living together.” Etc.

If she hasn’t because she still is with him I hope her real friends are trying to get her out of it. She’s incredibly lucky she has the means to get out of a relationship that other women don’t have.

Remember when Pete Townsend got off? Said he was doing research as he had been abused as a child.
Exactly.

Although it did make a good Nessa gag in Gavin & Stacey: I found out some things about Pete Townshend that I didn't like. And all I'll say is - and I said it to his face - where is the book?

I think this is really unfair. We don't know what India knew, and she cannot be held in any way responsible for what her partner did.
There was speculation earlier on this thread about possible domestic abuse but whether that's the case or not, the question shouldn't ever be "Why doesn't she leave?"
I am not a fan of India Knight, but I don't think she should lose her job because of his actions.
I don’t think she should lose her job. This is not her crime. I do question her judgement for staying with him.

I wouldn’t question it if there was any doubt over his guilt. However, he has admitted to searching for and making indecent images of children and in my opinion she should get out of that relationship quickly for sake of her and her daughter.

The safeguarding procedures that would have kicked in after he was charged should have offered her an opportunity to do that. If she is a victim of domestic abuse then that is horrendous. I hope she gets the support she needs to leave him.

I think you made a claim which you were unable to back up.
Making hyperbolic statements that do not stand up to scrutiny is not the way to convince people of your cause. They may assume that all the claims you make are exaggerations not supported by evidence. And I would say that to someone Inagreed with too.

So Freedman had an employment contract? From her thread I assumed it was an unpaid role.
The examples you've given don't show a pattern. Allison Bailey has not lost her job, neither has the student in the screenshots you provided. Maya Forstater was *not* sacked. Her freelance contract was not renewed.
So, if Rosa Freedman role as a board member was to have a paid one we have a pattern of...one woman being dismissed for holding "gender critical" views. I think you said Freedman wasn't a lesbian so we have zero examples of lesbians losing their jobs for refusing to have sex with trans wonen in possesion of penises.
No, there is a very clear and concerning pattern of women being no-platformed, dismissed, or hounded out of jobs for expressing gender critical views.

Why was Maya Forstater sacked?
Why was Rosa Freedman removed from the board?
Why was Julie Bindel no-platformed from speaking in Edinburgh?
Why is Allison Bailey having to crowdfund to sue Stonewall for campaigning to have her removed from her chambers?
Why is Raquel Rosario Sanchez crowdfunding to sue Bristol University for bullying and harassment?

The answer to those questions is because they are all gender critical. There’s nothing hyperbolic about that. It’s empirically true.

Or do you deny that?

On topic: it looks like India Knight is just going to plough onwards acting like nothing’s happened and hoping it will all go away.

And has Dirty Eric made that full statement yet?

I really hope social services are involved.

You don’t allow people to DM you here, @Wolf359 , but let’s just say this has been tried before here and it fell on highly selective ears.
I didn’t realise I don’t allow DMs!

Just so it doesn’t get lost, by which I mean I know it’s already been deleted at source, @Tesla's Ghost reminded everyone on the SH threads about the IK/EJ implicit threat response to Sali’s “Tattle = mean girls” rant here:

That exchange between Marian and IK is so false and dripping with insincerity. Ugh

As for the tenner EJ gave to the thief, that's so believable. Isn't this the same guy that attacked some young guys and IK said "they deserved it". Yeah sure he gave a thief a tenner

Also, imagine describing your partner as having all manner of things wrong with them? Way to set the bar high for yourself! Is it because she's just as horrible? Birds of a feather flock together

He left his phone on a plane.
"The guy he went to see was,
according to Eric, extraordinarily unhelpful.

“He lost his rag but I think it’s a humanly understandable thing, in the
circumstances, when you’re faced by some airport jobsworth.”

said India in that Sun link. Eh no, I've been faced with all sorts of jobsworths and had all sorts of stressful situations but I've never punched anyone or hurled racist abuse at them!
No, most of us haven’t. Ive lost lots of phones and been in stressful situations but I’ve never punched anybody. But most of us haven’t got category a images on our phones or a despicable and illegal search history. He probably had a very good reason for wanting that phone back so urgently. Prick.

Must say I’d never really taken much notice of this woman before the Sali Hughes debacle this week! The public posts she’s out on twitter are appalling at best. Also appears she’s a renowned twat. Surely this is going to turn into a case of the fox minding the henhouse? Or more appropriately the snake pit? Anyone else? I need to google her to learn more

I don’t know that Hughes, Moran etc would have been covering this news, beauty and celebrity is their journalism right? But the points been made I suppose.
I think it's not so much them 'covering it' as if this had been another person's situation they would have absolutely had a load of things to say, very publically.

You made an outrageous statement about lesbians losing their jobs *just* for not wanting to have sex with trans women with penises. You then provided screenshots showing nothing of the sort.
The claim was a gross exaggeration. That's it. Not sure of the relevance of the rest of what you have said to your original claim that I asked for sources for, which you have thus far been unable to provide.

ETA: I'm not going to back and forth anymore re this because I'm sure everyone's bored shitless by it.
Generally, I think people should be careful about what they say and share online so as not to add to the spread of misinformation. And hanging around in echo chambers online, becoming unaccustomed to having one's views challenged can result in becoming more and more removed from reality and losing perspective. That's true of gender critical activists, the right, the far left, QANON enthusiasts and loads of others.

Don't agree with this conclusion at all. Myriad reasons someone might stay and we are not privy to the details of their relationship.

What we absolutely do know is IK offered to send Eric to homes of Tattlers and Sali Hughes replied she knows the addresses. This happened after Eric was arrested on these charges, in a public conversation in Twitter and was clearly meant to be threatening
So she threatened to send a violent paedophile round to people's houses who most likely have young children. Wonderful.

I take 'champagne socialist' as a fake kind of socialist. Wealthy people who espouse socialist views and opinions but actually don't live the life in anyway or do anything helpful and are actually secretly quite conservative. Liberalism and socialism are cool, broad minded suits for then to put on.

For example I would say Keir Starmer is the opposite of one. A wealthy, privileged person who works to improve the lives of others.

Yes! And loads of other such nonsense.
She is the classic Champagne socialist, knocking back the booze in her vast Suffolk house complete with wildflower meadow as she churns out another 600 word press release for expensive face cream, pausing only to preach socialism at those who will never even know - or have time to care - what a fucking ViSpring mattress is. And yet her sense of moral superiority seems even larger than she is.

Exactly. Keep female spaces for biologically born females. Why is it so controversial? Why are we only ever arguing over biologically born males entering female spaces. Why does the argument never go the opposite way? Create a third space for transsexuals. I don't give a shit what people do or call themselves but female only spaces must be protected.
Exactly. The word "transphobic" gets bandied about so easily.

Back on topic to EJ, I would also wonder why he was such an advocate of unisex loos. Why the fuck is it your business? And it wasn't for the benefit of trans people. Someone who carries out the worst kind of child abuse is not a good person and isn't going to care about others

OMG, that is hilarious and bang on the money.

I remember being shocked - SHOCKED - when I read Marina Hyde’s Wiki entry and seeing her background. It’s pretty similar to that screenshot tbh.

Funny how only verrrry privileged people get into careers that revolve around writing about themselves and their opinions.
Despite her silver spoon background, I actually quite like a lot of articles Marina Hyde has produced, I think she does have journalistic talent.

India, only nepotism has given her a career. Piss poor writing imo.
