She’s selling the Suffolk house. XXXXXXX advertised on the XXXX estate agent site and she’s promoting the sale on her substack. Downsizing she says. Would appear to still be with Eric by the sounds of it.
I looked at her substackHow can I see the house?
Such a gorgeous house. Must require a lot of dusting/cleaning though - so much stuff on display and all the paper decs on the ceiling. The house is beautiful. Didn’t she sell her Primrose Hill Stucco Victorian villa to buy it? I remember her writing several puff pieces on the transition from London to country life when she moved there. You know, the same way she has written as if she is an expert on dog ownership after having one dog![]()
There is something really sad about this, given what's gone on and her own child having to go and live elsewhere, and whatever coercion is going on in her relationship to stick around. That house is so colourful and cheerful. Every room looks like it's decked out for a children's party, and the grouns for a game of hide and seek...![]()
Yeah, I'm not religious, but I'd be calling an exorcist. There is an active thread about this on Mumsnet with a link to the property. The general consensus is that it’s a nice house but would need to be bleached before anyone would consider buying it.
Initially I thought that too (and did she secretly marry him so now has to sell up as part of the divorce settlement?). But she mentions “us”. Maybe she has a new partner.Maybe they have split up and that's why she's selling up?
I think the post has been removed. It has currently disappeared for me anyway. I saw a few comments pointing out the obvious before it disappeared. Not sure if I can link but Cup of Jo (noughties blogger OG) has a puff piece of India Knight's house sale and she is giving out marriage advice
The comments are (currently) pointing out the obvious https://joannagoddard.substack.com/p/india-knight-house-tour
