We shouldn't pretend that homophobia doesn't exist and it's that which probably caused the deceit in both cases

The problematic bit for me is not that she has complained twice but both times he has contacted her after she has complained only for her to retract it. What did he say to her? She presumably wasn’t comfortable about it or she wouldn’t have complained a second time about the same thing

Homophobia definitely exists - but I don’t believe that this is the issue here. The problem is older, successful, wealthy people (holding a position of power), taking advantage of the young and vulnerable.
if they had both left their wives for male partners - it would have been all over the daily mail for a day or two, before fizzling out. They would both still have their jobs.

I don't see how homophobia played any part in him contacting a woman who'd complained and he still persisted!

It would be a quick turnaround to have confirmation of the election at 5pm and Huw signed up at 10pm the same day but will check it out

It makes me really angry he got all that money for being signed off but if he's updating his linkedin, he is now all of a sudden well enough to return to work but only after the whole BBC thing had been conculed? Calculating git if you ask me. Every time anyone is caught doing something wrong now their go to is statements about their mental health and hiding away in 'treatment'... must be great if you can afford that.

Meanwhile people with all too persistent mental health issues through no fault of their own can't even see a GP right now and most won't be working cushy jobs where they get full pay for endless time off.

Makes me seethe.

The announcement doesn't appear to be anything major, it's an election studio reveal despite the holder saying it was a talent announcement.
