12 years ago now and we've been married for 9 of them! I wasn't interested in relationships at the time, definitely wasn't looking for anything long term. Wasn't too sure of him at first, he was too nice 🤷🤣 but turns out a nice guy was just what I needed. Fell for him pretty hard and pretty fast. He's definitely 'the one'.

Well I got notification for this thread and I thought I had written on here in my single days.. ha! I’ve been with my partner for 3 years now and he’s genuinely the best. We met on Hinge, after many failed dates with weird men and I just knew straight away he was the one. Our first date was the day of the FA Cup Final between Liverpool (the 2nd love of his life) and Chelsea. At first I thought, this is going to be a rubbish date sat in a pub watching football but it was genuinely refreshing and the best date I’ve ever had, I didn’t get home til 3am the next day as we went out clubbing 🤣. We live together with my cat (who loves him more than me it seems some days 🤣) and we’re super happy, we’re currently TTC and looking forward to our future 🥰

Just had a notification about this thread and can now update and say the boy I fancied when I was 17 is now my husband as of a few weeks ago 🥰

Facebook 16 years ago we had a friend in common he added me I wasn't even looking to be in a relationship though it was just a friend request

I won't lie it's not been an easy 16 years but we're still standing after it all

Worked together. We got to be good friends then it turned into a relationship. We’ve had our ups and downs but we still find stuff to talk and laugh about.

Not me but a friend. She went to A&E with an infected nipple piercing, he was her doctor. Next weekend she saw him in a pub near her house, turns out he lived two streets away. Her nipple cleared up and they shagged in the pub toilets that night. 8 years on 😂 asked her permission for this cos normally they skip the nipple pus 🥲

My second husband was his supervisor when he was working on a film in London … We got together at my husbands 40th oops 🤣

We had great banter from the off. Whilst waiting for his start date, i had got a promotion within the team. So I became management, whilst a relationship with him wasn't against policy it was frowned upon. Especially when you have a horrible boss. We flirted for 2 years until he text and asked to come round. He turned up and said that he wanted to give it a go. 4 years later, after some very difficult times at work, we have a baby, looking to buy a house and both have new jobs!

Weird to read this again. But we are married, have another baby and we have that house!

I met my husband in a nightclub in 2005. He is/was sober, I was absolutely trollied 😅 we spent all night talking and then had our first kiss outside the club. By the time I'd walked home with my friends for an after party, he'd driven home an hour away and found me on MySpace and sent me a message. Still together now and (mostly!) happy with some ups and downs over the years. We've spent all our 20s and 30s together so lots of growing and changing for both of us in that time!
