You'd think the Australia trip would help but it seems the trip was just a huge freebie and she isolated in her single room many times and despite been a 1st class biology grad failed to grasp the concept of hydration !
Im not sure if they are cult like but i wondered if they were religious Holly's sister has said many times she does not believe in birth control. You'd of thought a 25/26 year old women in a relationship would at least accept its useful ! She spends over £400 on a ipl device to remove her hair daily down below though so its clearly prepared in some ways 😂
Holly looks malnourished immature and doesnt display any signs she has even gone through puberty and her failure to even acknowledge periods makes me think this could be the case
Even if the trip was a huge freebie, make the most of it! Didn't enjoy her Australia vlogs and the fact she let home sickness ruin the first few weeks was frustrating. I agree though, I think its made some things worse.

And yeah, her sort of build is really common in people with eating disorders - particularly anorexia, which I think she still has some behaviours of. But also, she does have a typical dancer's body, except most people do grow out of it by 22

Yes! The whole puberty thing is also something I’ve been wondering about! I’d understand if she mentioned the period topic and said ‘I won’t be touching on this as it’s too personal’ or whatever, but the fact she’s never actually addressed it and seems to actively avoid the subject throws up red flags.

also, the fact she’s spoken about ‘not wanting to be in a relationship’ and all that jazz is interesting. with eating disorders also comes a lack of sexual desire etc which is developed in puberty! The fact her body still looks like it does when it was 12 just shows this might be the case. I wouldn’t be surprised if she put on a bit of weight and that helped her mature/her brain to develop.

Also, if you look at previous photos of her when she said she was ‘in her eating disorder’, she barely looks any different. It’s as if instead of focusing on putting on weight to recover, she actually just focused on maintaining weight rather than loosing any more.

the only real difference is that her face has changed, but I genuinely only think that’s because of her ageing. she really looks barely any different and it’s concerning.

also, it’s worth considering that while the apparent quantity of food Holly ate/eats seems like a lot, when you’re only eating tonnes of fruit and boiled up veg, it wouldn’t amount to a lot of fuel for the body! Especially fruit, which is mainly sugar. A higher quantity would really be needed to properly fuel the body and help holly put on some weight.

Agreed. I also noticed she time lapses eating and often skips from a full potion to an empty bowl/plate, I wouldn't be surprised if she threw the rest of the food away and then captured the empty bowl/plate.

Never thought about that before but idk.

I just think she needs some real therapy to try and help her work through her obsessive behaviours and eating habits. Her routine she has isn’t good in the long run and the only time she ever changes things up is for YouTube content. Just not the healthiest!

holly needs help in many forms, i cant believe she wants to study nutrition as she barley seems to care about her own. To say she spent 3 year studying biology she never seems to talk about it in videos, which doesnt make sense if it was her passion.

As for her dancing i cant believe she is considered a good dancer, yes it may be technically right but she looks like a 8 year old boy, she looks so unfeminine and its hard to imagine her playing a part in drama of dance.

Tbh I actually kind of like her, I think she really needs to some good friends and help/support. Her family aren’t healthy for her and she really needs proper help with her eating disorder as it’s clearly never gone away.

Emily is weird though - I'm pretty sure at one stage she was saying she hopped she didn't have to get antibiotics (or meds) for a condition and that she hoped to cure it naturally. That just screams wrong to me for so many reasons. There's a reason why our life expectancies are longer now!

I've said it before on GG many times and I'll say it again here (I hope the move to tattle is permanent because it's so much less buggy) but I honestly wonder wtf her parents think about all this. They've never sought professional help for Holly with her ED even though they acknowledged she did have one in her teenage year (she would have long chats with her mum instead). It's not a money thing - they're definitely well off. Do her parents not care? Are they that oblivious? Do they not know the consequences? For a family who's produced reasonably intelligent children they seem to be massively stupid or out of touch with things.

I like her too and think she's grown a lot since she started her channel. That said there's a long way for her to go and this quarantine/ her being stuck at home seems to be causing some regression.

What does she charge £43 an hour for?! That's crazy. I don't know much about Holly but I just can't warm to her at all. Glad she has a thread!
She defended her pricing because of the extra work she has to put into lesson prep, but surely she should have written standardised session plans BEFORE taking on clients based on the mark schemes and curriculums of the exams the people she's tutoring are taking- all of which at GCSE and A-Level are available online, as well as past papers- then tweaking the sessions based on their weaknesses after she's communicated with the person, to focus on the parts that they need the most help with.

plus, if she’s working with her own notes/content all she has to do is read through her notes and in her case make a powerpoint?????? I’m sorry but I wouldn’t be paying £43 for notes on a PowerPoint and a few examples. Seems ludicrous

I thought maybe they were quite religious and against it, but im not too sure Emily and Holly both seem incredibly immature for their age and im shocked Emily has a boyfriend, i can just imagine her wowing him with her cringing tik tok dances then preparing him a vegan feast of boiled bland vegetables and a spoonful of rice.

maybe the not believing in birth control is to do with veganism ? Emily has been in a relationship for a while so they must have a way around it ?
Another thing that irritates me about the family is when Holly has mentioned the dogs are only allowed in the kitchen at meal times ! poor little souls, maybe that is why the family is so cold

i dont think the family are religious surely Holly would of added something related to Church on one of her many to do lists/productivity videos/day in the life and add an extra few pounds on tutoring fees for Vegan, Biology Cambridge Grad tutoring. Maybe Emily isnt sexually active with her boyfriend to require contraception or maybe they rely on traditional methods. The entire family needs a group therapy/counselling session, they need to get involved in wife swap or some posh version of Jeremy Kyle, an intervention is necessary.

The only reason to link some birth control to veganism is that most condone aren’t vegan, but you can get ones available. A lot of YTs use a natural birth control called the daisy that she might use. It’s basically means you check your temp every day to find out what days your fertile and you don’t have sex those days. It’s not reliable at all, but it was popular with some vegan YTs before.

Even the vegan society says that medications are an exception to veganism, so vegans shouldn't beat themselves up because there are no vegan medications.

My thoughts exactly.... not exactly a belief... more just a choice whether or not to take it?? They don’t need to make every little thing they do a full on personality trait ffs.

like with Holly, any ‘new AMAZING discovery’ will literally become a personality trait. Whether it was her freakish obsession with bananas or her addiction to running.... everything is just obsessive

Exactly! It’s like.... Option 1: don’t take certain medications and either become really ill or have something happen which you don’t want or Option 2: take the medication to keep you alive/well??

although they’re both pretty obsessive so idk whether they’d actually take medications which aren’t vegan friendly.... it’s like 100% or failure sorta thing
