What’s with all the strange status updates on her Facebook page? I don’t follow her but one popped up whilst I was scrolling. I think someone has got access to her account or she’s been drunk for 24 hours.
She spirals when the kids are away completely loses her sense of purpose, I hope she's got a friend to talk too.

Is she not supposed to be in panto? Unless she’s getting out her banger after it every night.

Tbf I don’t think she can cope with the three of them on her own. Especially that boy. Although he behaves absolutely fine for his Dad.
Do we know that, though?

The bar is just so much lower for men. I don’t just mean Helen and Scott but generally. A man takes the children to the park for an hour and what a good dad; mum takes the children to the park for an hour and how disgraceful that’s all you did, and you forgot someone’s water bottle and lost a hat and what sort of mother are you?

When a dad has the kids every third Saturday and the third Thursday of the six weeks holiday he's an 'involved dad', the mum who has them the rest of the time is 'a mum'. If a dad plays with the kids for half an hour on Saturday afternoons and reads their bedtime story twice a week he's a 'hands on dad', the mum who does everything else is 'a mum'. Bar? What bar?

He has them more than her though? I’m not dissing Helen at all, I’ve always said on this thread that I really like her. It’s just an observation. And I would say Scott does a lot more than take them to the park for an hour.

I honestly don’t know, that’s why I asked (that sounded really arsey written down and it wasn’t meant that was, sorry!) I just think it’s plausible given what I do know about women / men that C is as much of a PITA for scott as for Helen but that this wouldn’t elicit any judgement of Scott in the way it would for her, if you see what I mean.

My son is a similar age, that’s when I first started following her in fact, and he’s a PITA as well (said with affection.)

New to this thread and have followed HF for years but 1 thing that infuriates me is when she's filming herself in a shop, cafe, club why WHY is she always looking into the camera like she does?
Guys like it

She has PMDD she could well be luteal and crashing
Urgh. I have pmdd and neurodivergent. I cringe when I look back at some of my epic crashes before I understood these conditions.
Tbf I stil have them occasionally now , usually when under great stress or overwhelm

Same: I struggle a fair bit when stressed and overwhelmed thankfully not to the posting status but in how I am as a person

Yes, sometimes I don’t recognise myself or my seemingly ‘disproportionate’ reactions to things, then my period arrives soon after.
I have definitely overshared on socials but not to the point of slating other people, usually some sort of emotional expose’.
Fortunately I no longer use socials so can’t embarrass myself too much.
The worst (most embarrassing) is getting upset at work

I looked up the symptoms and genuinely worried I may have this. The week-10 days before my period I am insanely depressed and anxious. I create scenarios in my head that are not remotely true and get upset or anxious over them. I cry at the drop of a hat. I don’t sleep. I panic about the tiniest things. Then as soon as my period arrives it’s like it washes away.

Re: Helen. I feel so sad for her I know she’s a pain but she’s obviously not well mentally at all. I hope she’s getting some help.

Work is my biggest downfall makes me struggle the most. Lack of support anxiety it’s awful to live with

Yes , when my period comes it’s like the sun is coming out for the first time after a long dark winter!

It’s horrible. I do wonder how much it’s impacted my life and relationships, times when I have been upset and I worry terribly about my reputation at work, most bosses have been kind about it, one was particularly unkind and I worry what colleagues say behind my back, it’s mortifying
