beyonce is so overrated & anyone i know cant name a song of hers after 2008. i truly do not get the hype.
Talent wise, she is indisputably incredible. Nobody can sing and dance at the same time like her without lip syncing. Her voice is always near flawless. I used to think she was overrated in that regard until I watched her Super Bowl half time show a few years ago. But most of her albums aren’t incredible bodies of work. Lemonade should’ve won for AOTY though imo. The problem is that the Grammys are racist and a lot of Beyoncé’s Grammys are from the R&B categories where they usually stick lots of Black artists so that they don’t have to award them a general award. So people want Beyoncé to win the most prestigious awards but it comes at the expense of discrediting other talented artists and making them feel bad if they beat her. Half of these people complaining won’t have heard a single minute of Renaissance. Sorry to derail!beyonce is so overrated & anyone i know cant name a song of hers after 2008. i truly do not get the hype.
This narrative is so tired. Not to sound like a fan but people love to say she’s overrated and undermine the awards and praise she gets. She deserves it all. She’s been in the industry for 3 decades. Her relevance, influence and talent hasn’t faltered. She worked hard, paid her dues and respects the people before her.beyonce is so overrated & anyone i know cant name a song of hers after 2008. i truly do not get the hype.
You and everyone you know really must live under a rock if you can’t name a song of hers after 2008beyonce is so overrated & anyone i know cant name a song of hers after 2008. i truly do not get the hype.
100%. That is so perfectly put. It must be mortifying for her when people are saying oh she should have won, because it inadvertently makes her look a little ungracious and it’s not even her saying those things.Beyoncé is an extremely talented and versatile woman, but that doesn’t mean she has to win every single award and those who beat her should be shamed.
Exactly. Also I’m sure she didn’t like people screaming her name during Harry’s speech. Look at the way she reacted to Kanye invading the stage when Taylor won all those years ago. She won 4 awards at the ceremony. It’s not like she went home empty handed.100%. That is so perfectly put. And I thought her and Harry were friends? I think is just an inconsiderate thing to do/say even if you don’t know or like the other person.Exactly. I saw a TikTok earlier of Adele after the ceremony saying something like “it’s great, but you know I love Beyoncé”. Then she made a face. Like all this fawning over Beyoncé is pathetic. Adele herself was nominated in the same category this year, and I’m sure she said during one of her own award wins years ago that Beyoncé should have won? Why is she submitting her work if she wants Beyoncé to win? I like Beyoncé and Adele but that’s very rude of her to say imo.
It’s crazy to me something as simple as going to talk to the fans of your album that they’ve dedicated a huge segment of the show to isn’t even thought of by other artists? Obviously shows Harry is a truly lovely person at his core who cares about his fans, but it’s instances like this where it just shows the egos of those in Hollywood. He also gave her a big basket of merch.According to the ever reliable twitter, apparently Harry was the only artist to meet and greet Reina, the fan who was there for him to announce the aoty winner, and he was also backstage comforting the dancers after the big spinning plate from the ‘as it was’ performance was spinning the opposite way to what they’d practiced in rehearsals🥹🥹🥹can’t believe none of the other artists had the decency to meet their fans (well I can)
I’m a massive fan of both artists, but I was underwhelmed by Harry’s House. I don’t think it’s sonically as cohesive as either HS or FL. Renaissance I adored as a different sound for her but it isn’t my favourite album either. Both of the fanbases get too deep into it, it’s kinda scary. They shouldn’t be pitted against each other as both have their own merits. We all like different thingsJust to say, Harry's album was brilliant and he was a deserving winner, he doesn't "owe" Beyonce tit, her fan base are so toxic.
She's a great artist, her voice is unbelievably beautiful but her albums aren't exciting. Harry's album was refreshing and different.
I can’tMy boy is SWEEPING and he just thanked all of 1D in his speech followed by doing a shot![]()
