Recap of the last thread

They went to David Foster's charity do and she posted more crap on Instagram. She wore Diana's butterfly earrings.

Euge had a baby girl and announced the birth on ILBW's birthday. Still awaiting the name.

The Stoat wants to come back to the UK 'every few months'.

He's stopped giving a few quid to Sentebale, and donated the vast amount to Elephants Without Borders charity that allowed them to buy 2 satellite collars.

We're looking forward to Justice Nicklin's ruling on costs this week.

Great title!

I saw this on Reddit and sprinted to the comments section. Could the “rocking chair friendship” with Megz already be over? Or is it just not there YET? Someone pointed out that Megz insisted on a makeup-free episode when Jamie Three Names literally made her fortune from makeup since she suffers from rosacea.

Jamie’s voice even sounds different here.

Thanks @JAR21 for starting the new thread and recap and love your new title @TheMiceInTheShed

An ‘insider’ is at it again according to the DE. They think the meeting was a huge success with reconciliation with the family on the cards now!

The insider added: "Both Meghan and Harry believe that both William and Kate went out of their way to make life as difficult as possible for them and tried to block a reconciliation at every turn. Ultimately, they failed, so Meghan and Harry feel vindicated. That being said, they would still very much like to have a better relationship with William and Kate, but even if that never happens, they believe they and their children now have a place within the family."

BIB ...... dream on, it will take more than 45 minutes, a cup of tea and a shortbread biscuit to reunite you with the rest of the RF.

I think they have missed a few words off the end of the last sentence ....... if only they are given the full time security which they truly deserve. 🙄

Richard Palmer having a go at Prince William in the Observer today for homelessness rising in some of the areas William is focussing on.
Is Palmer part of the King’s special royal rota? I didn’t believe that Charles was briefing against William and Catherine but recently I’m not so sure.

Since we are subject to 2,000 + imports a day - equal to population of 4 council wards - Williams efforts are being outstripped by incomers.

I wouldn't be suprised if he was briefing against William. He briefed against his own mother QE2 for years.

How ridiculous. William is doing the best he can with the resources he has available. What will Palmer blame William for next? Earthshot isn't preventing global warming?

Richard Fitzwilliam is moaning about him in the DM too. Doesn't have the 'right' sort of workload and may do away with some traditions. The poll indicates William is actually on the right track.

It's definitely another anti-William summer. Whether it's BP-instigated or not, it's a pity BP can't support the heirs a bit more rather than letting the Harkles try and spin narratives about W&C and now George.

The RRs are probably upset that no rumours have circulated about the Waleses enjoying a lavish, luxury holiday abroad that they can pick apart. I remember last year that the DM managed to construct an entire article about George sending a tender ashore to pick up McDonalds, with absolutely no concrete proof the Waleses were even on a yacht at all. Camilla was subsequently photographed on one, but apparently she deserved a nice holiday.

From last thread:

@wisebutwild wrote:

“All this talk about separate bedrooms …… what I wouldn’t give to have my late husband lying softly snoring next to me at night now, with a quick dig in his ribs if he got too loud ….. you don’t know what you’ve got til it’s gone.😥

This has got me thinking …… I wonder if Meagain snores? Probably not, she’ll be too busy talking in her sleep to fit snoring in as well.”

Thankyou for reminding us of what is important. I’m sure all of us here would also prefer to have the inconvenience of snoring if it meant we could still have a departed loved one with us still.

An inadequate wish, yet meant with sincerity: I hope he visits you in your dreams tonight xxx

Found this El Greco in a gallery this morning, look at those hands and feet, he’d do a brilliant likeness of Meg (appropriately filthy too but StJ the B had a better excuse !)

This fundamentally illustrates just how immature they both are. They never take any responsibility for their own actions - this time it’s all William and Kate’s fault.
How can you have a part in the family when most (if not all) of the family want nothing to do with you 🙄

And when you're clearly in denial about W&C's current and future status. And for that matter, George's.

They still seem to think they can somehow weasel their way back, demand things and compete.

There is a lot of negative press around William’s work load and perceived lack thereof.
I’m in my early 60’s and in all those years when Charles was the PoW there was never the same scrutiny of him in his role. I was only aware of the Prince’s Trust.
It seems v unfair , particularly as William was a rescue helicopter pilot with a young family while at the same age Charles was a ‘playboy Prince’ looking for a bride( in his early 30’s).

Obviously the main problem is caused by having over population.

There's apparently a growing problem among the older age group now of people 50+ who lose their jobs, cant get another one and then can't afford their rents (plus bills etc.)
Who's fault is that?

To be honest I think what William said was very questionable as nobody has the answer to homelessness and building more blocks of flats everywhere isn't the right solution IMO. We now live in an overpopulated country that can't sustain itself anymore.

Thanks for the new thread and title.

The Sussexes have been "vindicated" by their secret meeting with Chuck, as this was apparently arranged unbeknown to C&W so the Stoats have "bypassed" the Waleses. Having spent private time with his father, the Stoat feels confident enough now to "turn his back on William".
However short or long the meeting and whether it happened at all doesn't matter. Chuck from BP announced he met the family, and that has opened the door.
If Harry's coming back regularly as he says, he'll need a house. RL? Security? He's already a CoS and he won't need to do royal work, just his charities, HIHO.

Charles never had this level of scrutiny about his work load. I think it is very unfair.
edit: Charles did cop scrutiny about his climate change thoughts, to be fair. He did seem to be judged for his ‘woo woo’ beliefs, so maybe the criticisms for William and Charles are/were the same….just about different things.

And simultanously carrying on with two married women - Cam and Kanga. Anna Wallace dumped him because of Camilla.

Imagine the furore if William had been doing that in his early 30s, while 'courting' a 19 year old.

Interestingly, Rowan Williams has spoken for the first time about refusing C&C a church wedding. He agreed with TLQ about the adultery.

I suspect the Harkles might have received a cooler reception from him than the fawning they got from Welby. He'd almost certainly have come right out and shut down any '3 days earlier' nonsense immediately.
