Im not sure..........I think its a masterstroke to stop everyone wearing a uniform!
At the end of the day, its going to be a massively slimmed down covid funeral to say goodbye and show respect to Prince Philip.
All it does is actually show Andrew and Harry up for being so petty......And denies them to chance to put on their fancy dress outfits!
It’s up to them but I feel it shouldn’t be glamorised as real work. I’m aware some women have no choice in the matter but let’s not pretend it’s real work/ a real job. I hate to see the rise in only fans for example and how many young women get influenced by the likes of idiots like Meghan Barton Hansen and Lauren Goodger etc glamorising and normalising posting sexual pics and videos on the internet which women may later regret.Actually if women are honest about this being their profession for whatever reasons then that's up to them as as as I'm concerned. It's a job and you can choose to be a sex worker if you want.
In my opinion it should be legalised so that the women providing the service get some protection.
Meghan would never admit to being an escort or yacht girl so its the hypocrisy that most people object to, not the fact that she did it.
What's clear is that Andrew and Hazza didn't get what they wanted. No uniforms. Harry was pushing to wear his Blues and Royals uniform, last seen on his wedding day to LA Markle. Unbelievable, monstrous arrogance. Queen said 'No' and also said 'No' to her beloved Andrew. For heavens sake... Pr Philip only gets one funeral so do it according to HIS wishes and no pampering to massive egos of the living...who should know better than making a fuss at this time.
I am sorry if the Queen really had to say no uniforms will be worn due to her own child and grandchild.... the latter gave up his position himself...
My patience is done... I will be glad when the funeral is over and hope the fussers can live with themselves for spoiling the last event PP will star in.
Also, the men in grey suits won't let him anywhere near her or let her take his phone calls. We are in a pandemic and no one is going to risk the Queen for him to break quarantine. She is still the most important person and they cannot break the rules.
What I don't get is the magazine is woman in leadership and yetScobie is desperate to be seen as 'black' because it gives him fashionable victimhood status.
He says he's mixed race (although he's as white as can be). I find it quite repugnant actually.
He's just like his mistress Meghan - using race to score points over others because the worst possible thing you can be in his world is 'white'.
Both William and Catherine were very well thought of when they lived on Anglesey pre Wedding ...Catherine even helped with local scout troop and by all accounts was a very good baker ( I have this on very good authority from a colleague )Don't forget his service in the Air Ambulance, he has worked in many forms of public service. He was really good at it too by all accounts.
I'm beginning to think It may be a good idea re no uniforms, Harry would be hamming it up for the Netflix documentary\drama which is inevitably coming down the track at some point. So, no uniforms means no marching or photo op for Harry to make mega bucks.I wonder if the palace aides are tearing their hair out at the capitulation to the stroppy boys and their fancy uniforms. I think it’s a mistake but she is the head of the family and it’s hers to make. It pushes the problem down the road from the funeral but they have to face it somehow. HM is very reactive, never proactive but this does chip away the the authority of the sovereign.
Charles better firm up those plans for a slimmed down monarchy or we might just get rid of the whole thing. Feeling a bit French again - those grown men acting like idiots because of being pampered thier whole lives.
I was listening to something on the radio a few weeks ago where they said that Andrew's lawyers were advising him not to go for questioning because they were worried after that disastrous interview with Emily Maitlis and apparently he's also worried that if goes to the US they might keep him there. I agree though, I think he should just address it (and he should have done so a very long time ago).Andrew has been put into the shadows because of the FBI wanting to question him and him being reluctant to face them, so instead of being mardy and "demanding" to dress up in a uniform of a rank he did not attain, he should stop skulking in those shadows and face his accusers.
The accusations will not go away. And if he keeps avoiding the issue it just makes everyone more likely to believe he is guilty.
So he needs to come out of hiding and face the FBI enquiry.
I agree, it doesn't make him look special, surrounded by pomp, everyone will look like a normal family and he won't be able to cry victim.I'm beginning to think It may be a good idea re no uniforms, Harry would be hamming it up for the Netflix documentary\drama which is inevitably coming down the track at some point. So, no uniforms means no marching or photo op for Harry to make mega bucks.
Surely he is in quarantine and can see no-one?Also, the men in grey suits won't let him anywhere near her or let her take his phone calls.
I remember an interview years ago with a royal photographer (I think it was Arthur Edwards). Both William and Catherine were very well thought of when they lived on Anglesey pre Wedding ...Catherine even helped with local scout troop and by all accounts was a very good baker ( I have this on very good authority from a colleague )
I once stood next to her when she was shopping in our local waitrose....no airs and graces- the local lads in the store were so excited to see her ( she had very low key security at the time) she even carried her own basket - I had a quick nosy to see what she was buying ( digestive biscuits and chocolate iirc!)what I do remember was that she was stunning and had the most amazing bouncy hair!
William flew the helicopter several time to local hospital to drop off casualties , but no one bothered him
yes we will all be glad when he buggars off back to slutguts, I am sick of hearing their pathetic attempts to back peddle and sickly PR bloody desperados. He is a disgrace to any familyAlso, the men in grey suits won't let him anywhere near her or let her take his phone calls.
I'm in the same place. Ann and Edward in plain clothes, unfair but prevents it being all about Andy'n'Haz. Charles and William in uniform would be a better compromise.Im going to put my two pennies into the hat re uniforms. I think it should be on this occasion future kings only to wear military uniform for the funeral. Send a clear and concise message. The sooner the traitor Harry is back in la la land the better for me
Fully agree. If the stories that Harry and/or Randy Andy were kicking off about uniforms then by banning them all, yet again HM Queen has played another blinder.
Everyone in morning dress can't have been the plan, can it? What was so wrong about Peter Phillips, Andrew and Harry in suits? So this is a midweek decision. It stops the debate and now the Palace can see that Hazza is unrepentant and just as selfish and grandiose as ever.
The Mirror had the original 'Hazza reaches out to Charles, William, Béatrice and Eugénie' story last night from 'a source'. Its pure Harkle PR. Harry 'doesn't want drama' is the line. Not 'contrite Harry apologises for idiocy of Oprahgate'. He's still a little traitor.
