As it stand unless Queen Elizabeth changes letters patent again, which I think she would have done already, when Charles becomes King they legally become Prince and Princess like Louise and James Wessex. They are styled as children of an Earl because their parents knew they would never become working royals. I imagine Charles thought Harry and whoever his wife would be would be sensible like this and style any children as children of a Duke. Meghan will obviously not do this. Even Sophie has said when her kids are 18 they can choose themselves to be styled as a Princess and a Prince but she can't see it happening.

There is sometimes a ceremony when the Prince of Wales title is bestowed upon the Duke of Cornwall of the time as that is not automatic and granted by the monarch. Edward VIII and Charles both had these in Wales

I hope that William has a wonderful ceremony when he becomes the Prince of Wales. I want it to be full of pomp and prestige with all the bells and whistles just to stick that up to his brother and his ungrateful wife (or better yet ex-wife). A big fat F@@@ you.

Is there anything new in the book? It got rather bad reviews I saw for just recycling tabloid stuff. Is that the case or has she included tea we wouldn’t have read in the papers or online?
There's no juicy tea BUT she does make a point of pointing out what she's NOT prepared to say for legal reasons, there is a whole chapter on the bump 'rumours' which is pretty in depth. It defo worth a quid. (I paid more and didn't feel ripped off!)

EDIT There actually is some juicy shit about Diana, Ms political ambitions but the bit that made me go WHAA! was the attempted influencing of what she was writing, someone tried to convince her that Thomas interfered with Meghan, Lady C was having none of it.

Not sure which social media the sometime weatherman has quit but his twitter is still active snd he posted on IG last night. Another drama queen flouncer

Totally agree about the royal ‘experts’. Every story I click on the title suggests fact the story suggests possibility based on someone’s opinion. So annoying!!

This is juicy
Old MM will fit right in with the Swampy Politics in the US. ..... Quickly adds UK Politics often as swampy !

Also, wasn't it reported when they were engaged somebody said " your a very lucky girl" (words to that effect). She instantly retorted, "Yes, and he's a very lucky man!"

All the networks except for Fox (I think) have seen their rankings slide to the gutter after Trump. If they think a weather man from the UK is the remedy well then they might be throwing S*** to the wall and see what sticks.
Apparently he caught Orca's eye and she would do anything to take a dig at Piers, look what he's done to her PR stunt with MM and JCMH , hardly was an interview was it ? Piers taken it apart and he's still going strong. I bet she thinks she's levelling a blow at Piers by encouraging Weather man's US career! Wouldn't it be funny from here on in he's know as the Weatherman!!

I would be thrilled if the Weatherman went and worked for a US network- he's a bit bland and rather vain!

I actually think she will enter the political arena. I might be completely wrong but I think she has got the backing of some powerful people in the shadows. Without a doubt you have to have an enormous pot of to run a campaign, far more than they have. It wouldn’t surprise me if there’s a lot going on in the background that’s giving her so much confidence.

@hehehe

Not one single person has said, suggested or implied that they “don’t care about slavery” & I find it repugnant and self-serving that you would claim that.

That you lack any historical knowledge & a full understanding of the horrific suffering of others for the past 2000 years is your problem, please don’t make it ours. Thanks.

Do I think Our Megzy is delusional enough to think she can waltz into a Senate seat and then run for President? Yes, absolutely. Maybe she thinks the political buzz is a good smokescreen for failure to deliver anything in the past year other than smoke-and-mirror deals. So it seems plausible that she is shouting at her team to put out PR, arrange meetings and attempt to network. But is it going to happen? Not in a million years.

She will be tolerated, used for free publicity and novelty value but treated as a joke figure. Not serious. There's a long, long list of qualified, vetted women who have spent years building political contacts in the right way.

Megzy doesn't have her own money, has a track record of seriously bad manners, has fallen out with pretty much all of her family, ghosted most of her friends and forced her husband to abandon his elderly parents and grandparents. Oh and she has publicly picked a fight with the UK Head of State and is under investigation for bullying young women. And that's before you add in the sketchy relationship history, rumoured s*x tape, prime-time Oprah interview serving up lies to the American people, and her close friendship with Steve Mnuchin, Trump's Secretary to the Treasury...

I do hope the truth does come out about "non pregnancies" let's face it she has told so many lies who will ever know the truth. The weatherman working for the blob with the gob will be laughable, it's all a pr stunt because he is another woke scalp and not a good one just hope he is consumed by a very large puddle . Wonder how popular Piers will be in Us a after his interview tonight especially since American tv stations are pro She Devil, still I suppose it distracts from the current problems at home, I am a bit shocked at their attitudes and don't know if it's ignorance of stupidty.

This pair are a walking disaster waiting to happen and when they crash I bloody hope it will be hard and painful. Wihinefree has made herself an object of ridicule and the King thing is one bad joke just a less than mediocre talk show host all white teeth, wigs and no substance and very little brain, mind you she has a huge chip on her shoulders to carry, no dignity, no respect just a big blabbermouth. I

Will wait until Dolly 2 arrived for the big announcement and the "c" section performed by Whinefrey and Kingy thingy while they argue about how much to auction the placenta for. Shallow, ignorant wannabes the lot of them

Strangely enough, I think the women in the Royal family are the actual strength - you have HM, Princess Anne who eschewed royal titles for her kids, you have Kate who has quietly taken-up causes she believes in in an inclusive way. She is particularly drawn towards children and their needs and is very well-informed. Then there is Sophie, whom the Queen is relying on more now that her children are older. They don't seek glory for themselves but I do believe they are feminists.

A friend has told me that Lady Cs book on H&M is 99p on Kindle at the moment if anyone is interested.

I agree, but I also think she has heard Charles plan for streamlining the Monarchy which would likely mean the kids wouldn't be Prince and Princess.
Never mind ‘heard‘, I think she has now been told in no uncertain terms.

Note how Smegs has all but disappeared since the Oprah interview?
I wonder why?
Perhaps she can be bothered with the pretending to be pregnant show this time or is aware of how unpopular the interview has made her and us hiding out...

Well said liar liar, I think all the women in r f are strong women and have the last word so much dignity and quiet about it it's a shame these ignorant be-wigged mouthpieces don't adopt some of this, they really need a lesson in diplomacy and tact still, you can't polish a turd.

I see, but point out that unless we learn from history we are doomed to repeat the monstrous regimes of yore.

H&M(bandwagonistas) are thought lite & deeply craven so spout knee-jerk poorly informed slogans to advance their own interests only.
That we can briefly debate & explore the inconsistencies & spurious logic of their spiel is surely a good thing?
H&M are back on screen swiftly enough.

All the networks except for Fox (I think) have seen their rankings slide to the gutter after Trump. If they think a weather man from the UK is the remedy well then they might be throwing S*** to the wall and see what sticks.
The British accent will have transient novelty value & he is prepared to strip if essential to the character & plot.

The sectarian divide is deeply entrenched still on UK mainland.
When my mother was a child, on Orange marching days the children had to be escorted to school as their uniform would mark them as targets.
