I really hope Nevison isn't dodgy and that would be such a cop out imo. Sort of thing that would happen n a more bog standard crime drama. He's a way more interesting character as he is as it goes against the 'nasty boss' trope

I just realised I called him Levison I have a soft spot for him so I'm hoping he is above board!

TLR = not remotely sweet. James Norton = absolutely lovely from what I've seen. Great actor that you can really believe he's the evil that is TLR

James Norton is very good in McMafia on the iPlayer if anyone needs anything else to watch. He also plays a good part in Rogue Agent, a film on Netflix.

Didn’t realise there was a thread for happy valley!! Did anyone else rewatch the first two series before this third one? I had forgotten quite a bit as it was so long ago. But my god did I enjoy rewatching it. Catherine has to be one of the best written female characters on tv. I’ll be devastated when it ends.

Yes! I had only seen Season 2 and hubby had never watched so we binge watched the week before Season 3. It’s so hard to wait a week for each new episode. Catherine is a super character and Sarah the perfect person to portray her.

I only just binged it all in past few weeks. Catherine is amazing

honestly her performance is astounding. she’s such an incredible actor. I’m so gutted that this is the final series. I suppose they want to end it on a high. After such a long gap between 2 and 3 I thought maybe they were bringing it back for a few more series. Was sad to read this is definitely the end

I wish I’d of rewatched the previous series to be honest there’s a few bits I’m a bit eh? Over as it’s been over six years ago and I got it a bit mixed with Last Tango in Halifax two very different programmes .

It’s very different to Happy Valley but I enjoy it, Nicola Walker is in it who is another brilliant actress. I’d say definitely worth a watch x
