Hannah Witton #2

I am Jewish, but my family don't keep Kosher. I choose not to eat pork, although my husband does. We are much more cultural than religious in our lifestyle and I don't think there's one right way to be Jewish.

That being said, not eating pork is pretty standard and I think more people avoid eating it than keep to many other standards, such as those around Shabbat (Sabbath) or Tzniut (Modesty) in the traditional sense.

Basically, I don't care if she eats Ham Sandwiches, but making it part of Vlognukkah seems more than a bit tone-deaf. I wouldn't click on that video not because I'm offended, but because the concept seems really silly and unneccessary.

Less than three minutes into "are five year plans pointless?" and she's said, in her best girlboss-actually-doing-something voice "Business blazer on!" four bleeping times. A year ago, I'd have said Hannah's one of the hardest-working YouTubers out there (it's a low bar) but now she's scraping the barrel for content and she's not the high-powered woman of business she thinks she is just because she's wearing an Eras costume on camera.

I noticed that too. Makes her seem like she's cosplaying being a business woman.

Very mixed feelings about her 'I tried being vegetarian for a month' video. As a vegan, I think it's great when people give veganism/vegetarian a go! But there was just something so childish about the whole video. She is fussier than a child! And she is also SO lazy...yes, we get that you have a kid, but that doesn't mean that the only meals that you cook have to take 10 mins! Especially as she doesn't have a real job and is at home all the time anyway.

Sorry if this is rude, but just feel like her video was particularly immature and pathetic today!

I came here to say the same thing!
Fellow vegan+gf + chronically ill person here!

I didn't want to be that vegan because like you said: it's great when people try to eat less meat.
I'm all for people just trying to eat less meat but imo health comes first and I'm willing to understand going completely vegetarian or vegan is not for everyone.
This video just made me so so soooooo annoyed for some reason. She comes across as a very lazy person and an incredibly picky eater.
The "I don't like tofu" part made me roll my eyes so hard and imo she can just leave raisins (and sometimes nuts) out of some of those dishes.

Tbf I also woke up in a bad mood today so maybe this post isn't the best review 👻

EDIT to add: I think it's normal when you go vegetarian/vegan to feel hungry. I remember wanting more snacks in the beginning of going vegan. It helped to eat less processed meat substitutes and I think just over time you get used to your new diet. It bums me out she didn't realize that could happen. Doesn't everyone know that when you change your diet, your body might react different to the diet?

I think I understand some of Hannah's pickiness. She mentions some recipes having too much big chunky veg for her to want to eat it. Some of that might be stoma related but it seems some of it is preference too. I am really similar. I can't handle too much veg or even fruit especially if it's chunky. I feel myself gagging as I swallow and I struggle to get it down. But I was raised vegetarian and now as an adult I just make sure to cook and eat the vegetables I can stomach while I'm at home and when I go out I just make sure there are vegetarian options around or settle for an egg sandwich or bag of crisps. I think Hannah is used to having lots of options but some planning could have helped her. And if she likes meat substitutes then she should eat them, and the vegetables she can handle. Why order pre made or half prepped meals if you're picky, and then complain that vegetarianism is the issue or you aren't built for it? Maybe just organise yourself and set aside time to cook meals you like.

I’m not a parent or TTC or anything so please don’t take this the wrong way, but isn’t the heavy emphasis on “when I get pregnant”, “I just want to get pregnant so the decision is made for me” a bit of an unhealthy way of looking at things? Surely you can’t live your life like that…?
I haven’t watched the channel so I don’t know the context this was said in, but I can imagine that trying to get pregnant and sitting in that limbo phase for however long must be unsettling. It may be hard to make travel plans in advance or any specific plans. Eg: Can we attend our friends wedding In Australia in a years time… who knows. I imagine you’re constantly thinking about the future. I can’t imagine the pain of wanting it to happen and it simply not. Especially if there is an ideal age gap hoped for

When did she become so insufferable? She used to be quite down to earth, you'd think that having a child would have planted her feet more firmly on the ground, but no...

So good to hear she’s finally putting her feet up after all those long 8.5h work weeks. Must be hard spending a couple of hours a day fannying around reading tit novels and buying all the ham sandwiches in the Kings Cross forecourt.

That latest vlog sounded like TTC click bait to be honest (this took a while) but it turns out she's talking about the bedroom reno. I wonder if sponsorships are making her post on the original Hannah Witton channel?

Just noticed she’s changed the name of the More Hannah channel to Hannah Witton! And the OG channel is now called ‘Hannah (sex & relationships education)’

That new video is really annoying. You can blur your kids face all you like but you’re showing him still in a dress and getting upset. As we know her husband’s sister it’s fairly safe to assume her husband has the same last name as him. So we know the kids first name and probably last name too. And you’re showing videos of him getting upset online. It might seem small and insignificant but 1. Kids don’t need anymore ammunition to bully 2. The kid just deserves some privacy.

Plus there are some sick people out there who can use software to unblurr it and doing very odd things with the footage! The safest thing to do, is not ever film them!

How much time has she got to kill that she's organising her books on her shelves in four different ways even when she knows from the start that three of them are not the way she wants?

I also can’t believe she thought that would be fun content to watch?!
