I’m a country girl so maybe a bit biased but I don’t get why they don’t move further out of London or back near family. I’m sure they aren’t living London life to the max as it is.

I know right lol, I am from London and would never leave here, but if I was from somewhere else I'd probably have way less qualms about moving further out

Where are they both from? I assume they both want to stay in London due to jobs? Hannah’s has changed so she doesn’t have to be in London anymore

Hannah is from the Manchester area but yes Dan working in London is a good reason for staying!

Found her ad for Headspace really jarring on insta stories yesterday. Second time this week I've seen an influencer "be open" about their mental health and then start shilling for a company. idk, it just feels like it really cheapens what should be an important conversation about struggling with your mental health, trying to not let it consume you when you're having issues conceiving etc

Watched her new video today and idk maybe it was the context of watching it on my lunch break during a hectic day at work but I was genuinely flawed at her happily admitting she only works 8 hours PER WEEK on YouTube and consultancy combined. What she is portraying to us as a respectable career is equivalent to 1 working day for the rest of us lol.

And tbh I’m just bitter because she obviously makes good money and still puts her kid in childcare half the week lol. But it’s the difference between the highly disciplined and scheduled entrepreneur she presents herself as and the reality of her 8 hours work week that I find embarrassing.

Her other categories of time were ‘learning’, ‘personal’ and ‘social media’ which I’m refusing to count as work lol. Except some brand deals I suppose but that’s likely 20 minutes a week when averaged across a year.

What does she do the rest of the time? Seriously Hannah what are you spending time on that you need 3 days of childcare for when you only work 1?

I got as far in her new video as she works 9:30am- 4:30pm Monday - Thursday and she takes 5 weeks annual leave a year before I clicked off.
You have nothing but time to block off babes.

2.5 hours per week “coaching”, not exactly taking off is it 😂

I haven’t watched the whole video yet, but how the duck does she need all these productivity tools to manage such little work? And her thinking she could be a project manager? I think she uses these tools, calendar blocking, etc to make herself feel busy and productive rather than actually to output anything. She markets herself as this productivity queen but she’s just doing a bunch of nothing busy work

Must be easy to spend a lot of time setting up charts and calendar blocks when you're not actually doing any work 😂

I wonder how many hours Dan works then to fill any gaps - full disclosure I haven't watched her videos in a while and just read :ROFLMAO:

I'm spotting two things: first, that she's gone from two videos & a podcast each week down to one low-effort video a week but seems to be acting like she's still got the full-time schedule.

Second, does it really take six hours a week to make these videos? She's not even doing the editing, she's just writing down some ideas and filming videos that generally average out at 20-45 minutes.

These sort of thing always makes me want to start a YouTube channel because I can absolutely fit (less than!) six hours around a full time job and evening commitments if I just take out some TV & scrolling time.

You'd also be more successful than her because you have actual stuff to talk about!

The only type of real content she has left is talking about the job she is very obviously not doing.

In Germany women can't work office jobs because of the lack of child care available and she has child care just to read books and scroll social media? I mean, I want this for anyone, tbh, but this is some kind of luxury others dream of.

I'm not sure where in Germany you are living but in Berlin we get free full time childcare and there is plenty of availability since the last couple of years.

Average Berlin response, I fear, lol. Just google "Kitaplätze Deutschland" to see what I'm talking about.

I’m not a parent or TTC or anything so please don’t take this the wrong way, but isn’t the heavy emphasis on “when I get pregnant”, “I just want to get pregnant so the decision is made for me” a bit of an unhealthy way of looking at things? Surely you can’t live your life like that…?

She has an unhealthy mindset to a lot of things, eventually she will have to move on and change her mind set but Hannah currently seems fixated on this next child (which I get) as it must be hard but she’s missing out on appreciating what she has in front of her

It is unhealthy but unfortunately unavoidable if you’re trying over any length of time. I do think voicing it online so much is probably making it worse. For all that she’s about raising awareness and normalising etc. this is one of those things that’s going to be difficult for her family no matter what, so why make it a bigger deal by telling the whole internet and have them along for the ride?

I think the coaching was just a stop gap whilst she planned to get pregnant and the new baby meant she didn't have to worry about working . Its clear in her latest video that she's struggling and I feel for her , but it sounds like she just needs a project management role at a big company and that'll solve her feeling stuck .
