I don’t watch her clickbait vlogs, they’re totally cringe! (But they probably bring in the £££)

As YouTubers go I actually really enjoy her and her videos. When I just want to chill for a bit I like watching her mooch around shopping, plus she seems to like similar stuff to me. She doesn’t seem full of herself like a lot of them do.

That's fair

I think a lot depends on when you discovered her. I started pre pandemic and she was very judgmental/mocking of youtubers, and called out their poor behaviour, click bait and was always adamant she would never do stuff like clickbait, sponsored ads, youtube was nothing serious for her etc etc. Which was refreshing, she just seemed a normal person (albeit with a comfortable life).

But now she has turned into just another youtuber. Admittedly she isn't as bad as others, but she isn't the holier than thou vlogger she once acted like. And she has become a bit repetitive so I rarely watch her now.

Stopped watching her for the reasons Mark has said, she changed and became the very thing she slagged of before.

Shocked that she seems to be going down the negative title videos for clicks. Why?!

I think it must be difficult to not accept sponsorship approaches etc. I think if I had a youtube channel and it grew exponentially like hers has, I would find it hard to resist the sponsorship money/monetisation of the channel. I believe we all would think it would remain a bit of fun on the side until it's possible to make money from it.

The other thing is, she doesn't have to put that much effort into her content because of what it is. It's not like it's educational. It's actually pretty easy money really. She is receiving about 80k to 100k views on average for almost every video. As a side gig goes, that's pretty great.

For sure. But she fell off her high horse pretty quickly when things took off. It just makes her initial superiority act even more disingenuous

I‘m wondering this too. I’m still subscribed to her channel, but haven’t watched in ages. Did notice the negative title videos though. Is she trying to attract the „London is a criminal shithole thanks to all the immigrants“ crowd? Because…I hope not.
Edit: I doubt that’s the kind of content she is creating, just to be clear :D but the seemingly click bait titles might appeal to exactly the kind of people who talk like that.

I mean…

She's also turning into walk with me tim, reusing the same cringe photos of herself 'shocked' in every thumbnail.

Oh Hannah

Also, interestingly this change to click bait thumbnails doesn't seem to have impacted her views in any positive way. If anything they've dropped a bit

Seems odd for her to use clickbait when she already garners very good viewing numbers per video.
Maybe she needs more engagement; the comment section of the video with the thumbnail making London look like a war zone, has 1000+ comments from people complaining about immigrants ruining London. As I said before, she wanted to attract a certain demographic and they found her. It’s also among her more popular recent videos. Bet we will see more of this.

All I can think about with this woman is that she's not the penacle of fashion she thinks is. She loves grandmother clothing. Also, I can't help but remember that shrine she has dedicated to Johnny Depp in her bedroom. She showed it last spring on her Instagram Stories. At least I think it was last year. That pinged some weird vibes... Imagine a woman in her 30s having a dedicated shrine to an actor? That's some teenager bull.

And, I just watched her latest video and it's such rubbish. All she does is ramble. Get to the point! I expect to see something. I'm not here for her video essays about why she's annoyed with the city. Such clickbait, ugh.

This change of direction clearly started with the new year and yeah, the numbers have gone down. So this either really is a new Hannah and the kind of content she wants to make, or she‘ll return to her old style once she realizes she’s losing more people than winning new ones.
She seems to be perpetually angry:

She had success with the videos about luxury shops closing down last year, but those videos were generally based on truth and with undramatic thumbnails.

She's moving towards the right wing/conspiracy theory territory

Yes, very disappointing. I enjoyed watching her mooching around Kensington or whatever before. I’m not interested in her going into Poundland or whatever! Gimme some escapism.

The latest video seems to be a classic Hannah one (haven’t watched yet), but the AI imagine of what Easter products at M&S look like, is kind of creepy 😁 are companies really ok with this? I get that influencers don’t want to make it seem like they’re officially advertising for a company that doesn’t pay them. But isn’t creating an image like this false (unpaid) advertising?
Also, the „I’m reporting live from a war zone“ reporter face is ridiculous. It’s not that serious, Hannah.
