Yeah Hannah isnt what id call an information channel. Her reviews are barely that. Shes more a personality channel
I notice this with other western Youtubers. They definitely target certain audiences for views. I occasionally watch reaction channels, but I notice there are some who start reacting to Indian tv shows or films because they are aware that the audience is massive, and that Indians would be intrigued by seeing westerners react to their shows and films. The same with the Korean, Japanese and Anime stuff. Maybe many are genuine fans of those countries and their film/tv, but there's others who are certainly reacting to certain stuff for views.Wait till she discovers Jollibee's and the millions of Filipino viewers.
Kerching!
Yeh I like him too, his descriptions are good and pretty detailed without being too niche or hard to understand (not sure if that makes senseTrue, probably of less interest to her target audience. I prefer Harrison Web he's more engaging and has good ideas on his channel. I followed his recommendations on the best croissants in Paris and he wasn't wrong.
Hannah doesn't seem to enjoy food which is off putting to me.
I would find it interesting too, especially because as someone who lives in London she doesn't seem that aware of different kinds of food (I'm basing this partly on the fact she never seems to know the pronunciation tbh). Unless I'm confusing her with someone else, didn't she review a contry pub or something somewhere outisde london?I notice this with other western Youtubers. I wouldn't be surprised to see Hannah go down a similar route and start reviewing other cultures food/drink. Not that that's a problem because I wouldn't mind seeing that. I don't know what the rules are for visiting country homes and things like that, but I'm surprised she hasn't done more of that. It would require travel, but I see no reason why she couldn't do that for the continued growth of the channel. Go to various country homes, castles, etc. Her foreign audience, especially the American audience, would probably like that as well. I'm sure she vlogged somewhere outside of London before, but I vaguely remember it so I don't know that for sure.
This would be something her agency should be advising her to do surely. Is this a similar thing in the algorithm with other channels, including vloggers like Hannah? Like does she see a trend in the algorithm with London based vloggers and follow it?
Definitely, he's very down to earth and not pretentious.Yeh I like him too, his descriptions are good and pretty detailed without being too niche or hard to understand (not sure if that makes sense) and he's very honest too
She has done clickbaity titles like ‘is London going downhill’ and ‘why are luxury brands leaving London’.The easiest thing to do these days for vloggers to gain views is talk about how Britain/London is awful, everything is going to the dogs, there's crime everywhere, how people should leave, etc. I wonder why she hasn't gone that route yet, or maybe there's time, haha. I'm kidding of course, but that seems a common route to go down at the moment.
Oh yeah I remember seeing those clickbait titles. I never watched them, but yeah the clickbait stuff can be irritating, but I guess it's something we have to deal with as these vloggers need to attract more viewers some way.She has done clickbaity titles like ‘is London going downhill’ and ‘why are luxury brands leaving London’.
I feel like if you’re an influencer your whole career is a cynical attempt to jump on trends and get people’s attention. It’s so grim.
Those are relatively normal prices for London as wellWhat I found confusing is complaining about a smoked salmon roll being expensive at just under £4, whilst cuddling a £2k bag.
Right? Doesn't even make sense. Even Harrods has cheaper sandwiches than my local fancy tit deli in the back end of beyond. Those are relatively normal prices for London as well![]()
