I find it hard to believe that these ‘influencers’ can earn so much for content that is often so vacuous. Even those who start off with good intentions seem to be corrupted by the money or their perceived fame. People that I once liked eventually change. Gary Eats, for example, now uses clickbait titles with a stupid selfie pulling a silly faux-shocked face superimposed over some restaurant they are reviewing. Take Hannah’s review on Tuesday …

View attachment 3709840

She actually enjoyed the meal! But here she is with an intentionally ambiguous/misleading title pulling an exaggerated face like a bad actor in a hammy silent movie. Gary has started to do similar which is disappointing. I do find it quite surprising that these fundamentally very unexceptional people can make a lot of 💰 from this content, in an economy where it can be challenging to make ends meet. Poncing around buying weird handbags for £thousands. It’s a strange world indeed. Forgive the rant folks, had a trying day yesterday.
The new handbag was on FULL display at the end of this boring lunch vid. And it was even more hideous than I expected 😬 It kind of doesn't suit her. But each to their own (as she herself says over and over) .
I am starting to become convinced that a lot of the female 'travel/daily vlog' type YouTubers are dolling themselves up & smiling a lot - looking all positive vibes & easy to be with ..to be aiming at desperate lonely men to give them money donations thru YouTube. Which seems to be working for a lot of them, it's like a new version of sugar daddy/sugar baby.

Okay, what is up with the nonstop flirting, multiple “winks”/ almost ” winks”, and the cutesy finger waving at the camera pleading for people to subscribe and give the video a like to show YouTube that she “has done an okay job.” See the poor little Hannah needs your help to like the videos the big bad YouTube will think that she has done an OK job ? Really? WTF was the flirtatious look and sign off to the video, “ if you can’t be good, be safe.”

Sadly and unfortunately, Hannah has totally changed her philosophy from a couple of years ago and is now chasing the $$$$$$ nonstop and is100% committed to all the cheap YouTube crap as others in this forum have mentioned, e.g., inflammatory, usually misleading, clickbait titles, weirdly filtered screenshots of herself with a distorted body/ head and super intense filtered appearance. Such a shame.

She mentioned her weight about 3 to 4 times in the video yesterday. She made a comment about needing to go to the hotel gym, and other comments about not wanting to eat dinner at the hotel, just eating a few snacks, etc.

The zeal to win the YouTube lottery has had an obvious impact on her recent videos. She wants that cash. She loved showing off that trashy $2000 bag she’s hauling around as her ” new camera bag.” She loves all the special treatment and staying in five star hotels, and eating at luxury restaurants occasionally, yet still complains nonstop about everything in her life in videos.

She watches all the YouTube videos that were made about any hotel in which she is going to rent a room. She knows what aspects of the hotel to film beforehand and what exact type of room that she would like to rent. She likes to create scenarios where she is the poorly treated underdog and viewers need to rush in to save “ their girl” Hannah, by posting comments, flooding the booking.com hotel site for a hotel that “ hurt the feelings of their girl Hannah” or charged her incorrectly for her hotel stay. Hannah isn’t doing anything new. She is just rereading old ground that several Youtubers have done before her, usually days to weeks before her stay at a luxury hotel or restaurant.

I don’t believe she’s using fake names to check into the hotels. She knows that all the hotels are aware of who she is and what she is doing. I think she likes all the perks and indulgences that come with her new direction for her channel where she simply stays in a luxury hotel one night a week and films a lunch or dinner on anothe day for a video.

I think she’s trying to make viewers believe that she is struggling financially to afford the 5 star hotels and the majority of her viewers do not realize how much money she is making monthly off of YouTube. She likes to emphasize that she is paying for the hotels herself with her own money, like she is a struggling martyr or the new patron saint of 4 and 5 star London hotels. People then feel bad for her and send her money in the comments or feel as if they must place a comment in the comment section, subscribe and click like for the video, increasing her YouTube statistics, etc. She has never once corrected or told viewers that she can easily afford the expensive hotel rooms and meals because she is making a big chunk of money from the YouTube channel.

At times, I believe she is setting up or relaying exaggerated situations to viewers about how she feels like she’s been badly treated or will make some strange comment or complaint about a hotel in order to get hundreds of comments to up her ratings for YouTube. It is very disingenuous and is basic YouTuber manipulation for views, clicks, and $$$$, which is something that she swore for years she would never do. She seems to have no shame now unplugging sponsors during videos and using questionable YouTube marketing tactics to draw an audience. It is a disappointing change in her channel and in her philosophy towards vlogging. She works in marketing, she knows that some of the clickbait titles and tactics that she is using are sleazy.

I noticed that she did not want to show the welcoming note from the hotel that was on the table in her hotel suite. Is it because it has a real name on it again and she’s not using an alias every single time she books into a hotel? All of these hotels are aware that she is a video blogger. I believe she gets a lot of special upgrades, attention, etc., due to that knowledge. In fact, a few videos ago, she remarked that she had been placed in the same suite at a hotel that a well-known YouTube travel channel host had stayed within the last year.

Her videos are getting very perfunctory. She checks in, shows off her outfit, complains about her hair, nails, her job, and weight, rummages through the mini bar in the room, run her hands over the furniture, complains if she has not been left biscuits, makes comments about the bathroom. She then roams around the hotel, seemingly embarrassed if anyone notices that she is filming, and speaking in an exaggerated whisper. She pretends to be surprised when she is given an upgrade, a complementary drink, etc. Rinse and repeat every week.

I find it hard to believe that she’s never eaten Taco Bell or heard of Kentucky Fried chicken, etc.

I agree with other people in this forum that Hannah is playing a bit of a dangerous game with her latest “ date ” videos to hotels and restaurants. She’s getting more flirtatious with each video, creating a false intimacy with with her scripted storylines, “ pack your fancy pants cuz this week is something really rather special, rather expensive, rather fancy indeed. We are staying at the brand new Chancery Lane.” We are staying at this hotel….what would you like to order at dinner.…you are going to order the expensive drink, aren’t you…….I am taking you on a date to …..” she keeps referring to herself in the third person as “ your girl Hannah” in videos, to try to create some type of intimate relationship with viewers and to get them to be loyal to her and her channel. It is getting weird.

She is encouraging some of the strange men that show up in her comment section to believe or indulge in the fantasy that they are actually on a date with her or staying in a hotel with her. I recall a few videos ago that one man sent her $400 towards her hotel room. Other men are giving her $$$$ in the comment section to go towards her expensive hotel rooms. She’s getting overly flirtatious with her weekly dinners that she films for her channel, talking about going on an exclusive dinner date with viewers, asking what drinks they would like to order, etc. It is getting a bit creepy.

I liked the old Hannah better than the new exaggerated/ intermittent posh accent, manipulative, $$$$ hungry, disingenuous, influencer Hannah That seems to dominate her videos in the past several months. Do you think she’s trying to build her channel up so she can quit her job with Disney and become a full-time vlogger? I believe her videos where she went to different exhibits, went to different areas of London, etc. were much more interesting than weekly routine luxury hotel videos. Perhaps one or two hotel videos, a month, but weekly? That’s going to get old very quickly.

What time stamp shows her bag, can't find it. Don't want to watch & give her more views.
She's become insufferable or has this always been the 'real' Hannah. Can't wrap my head around these lonely men giving her money. Are they unaware of how much she makes via YT along with her day job.

It was in the video below.click and you will see and hear her talk about her new bag. I thought it was in this video that she talked about her new bag was to be her her new camera bag but it may have been in an earlier video. I will see if I can locate it. In this video, she talks about her new bag and shows it off to viewers. I believe she showed off the bag and the manufacturer of the bag in this video because the cost of the bag had been outed in this forum a couple of weeks ago and she likely does read.

I believe the video where she showed off the bag and said it was her new camera bag was one where she was shooting outside and she placed her camera or the bag on the wall? I’ll see if I can find it specifically.

Hannah also spoke about watching Casey Neistat videos in one of her recent videos on her channel. I wonder if she’s taking one of his marketing classes to learn how to use all of the YouTube tricks and stunts that she’s been using for the past several months. Is that one of the reasons why she’s getting to be a bit obnoxious on her channel? She is using all of his tactics to try to generate more views and money for herself?

Here’s what I’m talking about in her latest video. Click the video and you can see the last 20 seconds or so. At approximately 34:07, she plays the poor little girl who needs all the viewers to give her a thumbs up so that you would tell YouTube that you “thought the video was OK.” At around 34:10, she winks with her right eye. She did that a couple of times during this video. I hope she stops doing that.At 34:22, she tells viewers that she will see them again in a few days, and with a somewhat sultry look, tells viewers, “ Now remember people. If you can’t be good, do be careful.”……

34:02
we have some other hotels obviously coming up. Anyway, subscribe. All that jazz. If you're watching on a tally, do go up and across and give it the thumbs
34:07
up icon. That tells YouTube that you thought you thought it was okay. I don't really want to check out. I was going to
34:13
stay and do work, but I've literally forgotten my MacBook charger. I don't even know where it is
. Anyway,
34:18
thank you so much for watching and I will see you in a few days time. Now, remember people, if you can't be good,
34:24
do be careful
. All right, bye guys. [Music]

I also wonder if she is exaggerating the amount of work that she actually has to do with her daytime job. It seems like every single video, she will claim that she has to do work while staying at a luxury hotel, “paying for it out of her own pocket.” Is she exaggerating her work and interjecting it into the videos in order to make viewers feel sorry for her and feel grateful to her for taking time out of her extremely busy work life to film a video for you, the YouTube viewer, or try to spread the word about her channel?

I liked her earlier videos and she had some really interesting topics that she discussed. She will always have an audience for the upcoming holiday video tours of various shops in London.

I think the work she does is editing the current vlog that she's filming, so when she gets home she has the minimum amount to do, if anything. That also helps to be sure she's covered everything, and got all the shots she needs. It makes total sense to do that so she's not wasting her time at the hotel doing nothing all alone.

Those lonely/desperate North American men are not going to be interested in her Christmas shopping. I'm sure she'll suggest what to buy for girlfriends/wives, walk through some menswear, and poke at some aftershave to keep them interested and give them secret shout outs. 🤑

Yeh also tbh if I was her I'd probably want to give the impression I was working so much kn case my employer saw it 😅😅😅

People just giving her so much money is crazy. Anyone have any idea how much she'd be earning from yourube? Would it be enough to quit her job?

The hideous new bag is shown in all it's full tackiness as she does the talk to camera piece at the closing moments of her most recent lunch 'date' video to that canal restaurant.

The men giving her money are probably very well aware of how much money she already is making. They don't care, they like what they see on the screen and are trying to buy the chance at winning her individual attention. They think this is the way that she might notice them above the other men. Basic peacock behaviour.

That makes total sense. Thank you, I did not consider that she may be referring to her editing responsibilities for her YouTube channel. I’ve been watching Hannah for the past few years and just dipped in today to vent a bit about the changes she has made in her channel and presentation over the past few months. Normally, I’m in the Château diaries forum so this is just a quick visit here to let off some steam. The Chloe bag Identified as her new camera bag seemed a bit disingenuous. Thank you for reading my posts and I will head back to the other forum. You and the other tattlers here been spot on with your comments about the channel over the past several months. Have a good night and tattle on!!

I knew that I sensed that Josh was here during the summer. Someone made super positive comments about him and argued everything.

Money grubbing hoes. They're no different from OF models. They show their mug for a certain amount and make their fans think they're their "companions."

Don’t get me started on that overdesigned vulgar bag again. I couldn’t believe how cheap it looked when I passed the display of them in Selfridges. That blimmin’ padlock on it was just like a piece of hardware from Robert Dyas. (A UK DIY store for people posting from overseas)

Does anyone think the bag was gifted? It seems so trashy and nasty for her. I was wondering if an admirer who was alone in a dark room one weekend binged her videos and found out what he thought was her favourite bag. Tattlers are amazing sleuths, but these obsessive guys take it to another level. If she chose it herself, she really isn't the classy girl she’s trying to portray, but it does check out with the forced fake accent.

I have only just started watching her in the last couple months, so I don’t have any background or biases yet. I have noticed the constant weight mentions, and needing to work out, and having to “watch it” and shouldn’t be eating a dessert etc. that’s already tiring. And the Taco Bell video was so incredibly dumb I still haven’t recovered. She had like 3 bites and was like “OMG GUYS AM I GONNA GET SICK?” It was so ridiculous.
Ps-I also wondered if the Paddington was gifted, but by Chloe. It seemed like she had it before it was available to purchase. I could be wrong.

Guys, I am in Selfridges today!!! Actually I am returning a handbag that I am not sure I liked. But, on the way to the relevant concession I passed the Chloe Paddington! Pictured here and on sale for £2050.00

Each to his/her own it’s horrible! That padlock is a significant amount of blingy ironmongery. It’s a handbag version of a medieval chastity belt.
The gold tone is so YELLOW. Wow. That’s so so vivid

Actually, You may have a point. I saw Hannah with the Chloe bag on her vlog a few days before them in Selfridges. When I spoke to the assistant she said there was a big waiting list for them and the ones on display were not for sale. 🤔

I've been watching Hannah since 2019 / 2020. Hannah has always commented about watching her weight. Almost every single vlog.
She is by no means overweight so her voicing her restrictions ON CAMERA feels very dangerous to me.

My shocked reaction is not that she's got kne free or whatever it may be, but that there's a waiting list of people who want it!!!
