Suitcase Monkey isn't London specific but lives there and has done a number of videos on places to go etc
That's the stage I got to. I don't mind the luxury shops at certain seasons (e.g. xmas) but she's not uploading travel anymore and also moving away from things to do in London and just wondering around shops. It's a no from me
I started following her recently, so have been watching back a lot of her older content where she visits different places in London - The Shard, Sky Garden, Borough Market, etc. I loved all of them, and I like that her vlogs and Insta don't give off the whole perfectly curated vibe, like Hello Miss Jordan for example. I really hope she scraps this shopping thing and keeps doing what she did. I can't image that many people would want to see the shopping thing weekly...

Could anyone read the tiny ass white font on her Instagram Stories that she won't have new videos for weeks? It was like 2px small.
That's a real annoyance of mine. She's not the only one to do it to be fair, but it's super annoying and I just ignore and click on or out of stories when someone does that.
It's also not super inclusive for anyone with even slight sight issues
It's like she's whispering into the void so no one notices. I didn't watch her last video, so I had no idea that there wasn't going to be a new one today. I don't know if she mentions it in the previous video.
But a lot of people are going to wonder where she is because they can't read something that small.
According to her Instagram stories which I could read this time around, she misses vlogging and could return the end of this month. She also wants to hire an editor, which might do her some good. But I thought she didn't take YouTube seriously?

Not watched it. The title was enough. Sick of the whole 'I'm not a vlogger' but doing everything needed to increase her following

Okay I'll bite since I watched it last Friday. She basically said she has a hard time editing videos still, which has taken all the fun out of it. I think she's looking for an editor.
She knows it's not good for the algorithm, but she's going to put out three videos a month and take the following month off. Also, she has no idea what kind of videos to do anymore.
Work has been busy and fulfilling. I think if she gets no joy from YouTube, she should retire from it.
It's odd, so many say about regular uplands for the algorithm. But so many successful youtubers I follow have no regular upload schedule. And it can be weeks between videos and they still get 100s of thousands of views.

Her insta stories today was interesting. I skipped through most of them, but someone brought up costs as she has been moaning about money and how expensive things are which fair enough, yes it is and she understands why people set up patreon but she never will, but will do the odd ad every now and again. So she has changed her tune, and willing to do deals?!

I don't buy the cost of vlogging thing. At her level there's no need for an editor, she doesn't need fancy equipment. I know plenty of channels that use basic stuff and do really well.
I think she's angling herself to become everything she said she wouldn't

She said she is in the red from paying for gear, repairs and some help with editing so I can't blame her for taking a deal here and there. I know she hated editing, so I'm glad she can offload that if it means she will keep the channel going.
