I doubt there is backstage tensions tbh but it must be hard to come to work when people put your work under a microscope and contrast and compare to your colleague.

everyone is a critic these days, but they’re not necessarily qualified (or even in the realm of fair) opinions.

Whether you like them or not, they have enough talent to get cast. There has to be a measure of respect there. I’d find it impossible to work knowing that people in the audience are just hating on me for fun/clout.

Personally, I think production knew exactly what were they were doing casting two people with a very big social media presence that attract both positive and negative attention. And pitting them against each other was clearly a conscious and rather cynical move.

I’ve felt the bad vibes from them both towards each other for a while, amber makes such a point to hype up every other cast member, do you ever see her in Hannah’s instagram comments? Nope 👀

Probably because they’ve discussed it like normal humans and decided that the ensuing internet pile on isn’t worth it.

By not hyping her up or being a good castmate?
Even if she did post something about Hannah- people would be trying to read between the lines etc.

Being a good cast mate is about showing up where it counts. In person. Not by living a double life on social media so that people with para social relationships can analyse every word (or lack thereof).

I don’t hype up the people I work with online. They know they’re appreciated in real life (or not).

These girls are painfully aware of the madness of their respective fanbases. They’re not adding fuel to the fire.

But I hope she recovers and that Hannah does a good job of stepping up and that whoever covers Hannah’s usual role enjoys the opportunity to shine there too. The show must go on.

Saw legally blonde last night. I have to say Hannah did a fabulous job. She was very good. Very very good. Also did the stage door meet and greets too. She didn't hang around but spoke to everyone waiting and happily did photos when asked. Good production all round! Dogs are super cute BTW!

Her personality is getting more and more unlikeable. Think Mean Girls would have suited her more.

I’ve heard a recording and it sounded like screeching and that she couldn’t keep up with the pace as wasn’t in control. Maybe that was just a bad recording tho 🤷‍♀️

I have to agree that i saw her in Glasgow and she was very good as Elle ! I've not really paid any attention to the newspaper dramas and wasn't interested in who played elle tbh just wanted to see a good show

Have to say it was an enjoyable show. Can't say I've heard any recordings but live was a good performance!
