She’s just posted a story saying that the restaurant across the street from the theatre isn’t a “safe enough space” for people to talk negatively about the performance they’ve just seen and we should “be kind”.

She can’t dictate what people can say in a random restaurant??? As long as they’re not going up to her or the other cast and being like “oi mate your K Howard performance was shit” etc, people are entitled to their opinions. Not even like they’re doing it in the theatre! And if someone has literally just watched the show and gone for lunch/dinner afterwards, they’re obviously going to discuss it.

Wind your neck in Hannah 🙄

Can’t wait to hear your amazing version?!
Oh hun, I absolutely can’t sing or dance but I’m also not the person performing in a west end show, singing like drowned cat, dancing like my spine has been fused together and making mistakes pretty big mistakes

I think we need to remember it’s literally due to sickness. If she was good enough she wouldn’t be an understudy twice over
understudy twice over still means she's had to learn 3 parts (4 if you include the 3rd Heather) also, if she wasn't good enough then surely she wouldn't even be understudy?
I can see why people dislike her though- I think she gets on peoples nerves because shes a typical theatre kid, very dramatic and very loud
I've seen her a few times in Heathers and she is bloody good

Yet she's just reposted about going to an audition for the addams family and not getting the role.
I actually commend her for posting she auditioned and didn’t get the role. There are so many young fans who see her as THE best MT performer in the world, and think she should he cast in everything from Wicked to Hamilton! There’s nothing wrong with them looking up to her and wanting to get into theatre because of her, but by doing this, at least she’s showing the realistic and very difficult side of being on that world.
I think she probably said she was taking a “gap year” to save face, incase she wasn’t cast in anything straight away.
Shes in a weird position, as they’ll be some productions that won’t want her because of her social media, and others that would see it as a way to promoter their show. Regardless of whether they think she is talented or not.

As far as I’m aware, aside from regional panto (not knocking it!) where she played Snow White, I don’t think she’s ever been principal in a show? She does appear to be dedicated and has gone on for roles she hasn’t covered, like in heathers, but I’m not sure she’s got a strong enough voice to be cast in a principal role on the west end.

I predict there’ll be ensemble and swing roles, maybe touring productions. Then I think she’ll set up her own performing arts classes, as she has a lot of teen fans, who would love to be taught by her. I actually think she’d be pretty good at it too.

Her sister seems even more beggy than her. It’s like she’s trying to copy everything Hannah did in the hopes it works for her too.

Saw a clip of her Katherine Parr debut and thought she was awful. Pitchy, out of time and looked really awkward dancing.

I've never rated her anyway but an alternate really out to be working harder than she was there.

I’m not a big Hannah fan but I think there’s a place for her and other Hannah types in plenty of shows.

Personally I think it’s just mean to say she’s not pretty. She’s not an unattractive woman.

I’m all for constructive criticism and questioning whether someone suits x or y role but some of it is just outright mean and that’s not really in the spirit of being a fan of musicals.

I know through the theatre grapevine that Six were reluctant to hire her for a while because of how she conducts herself on social media, I wonder if they’re now regretting their choices. She’s completely insufferable.

What a tosser. Audiences are allowed to discuss their opinions in the theatre itself, let alone in a restaurant down the road. If actors are too sensitive to overhear criticism (and why are you listening, ya narcissist) then they should not be in a line of work that is critiqued and not always in a positive way.

That’s what happens when you get cast in a show more because of following than your actual talent.

I said what I said.

If she hasn't got a lead yet, I can't imagine she would get one now.

I think she's best suited to children's theatre or children's TV presenting - her voice and acting is nothing special, but she's bouncy and enthusiastic enough.
The thing is, she’s nothing special. There’s nothing that puts her above everyone else talent wise. Obviously the timing of her graduation didn’t help but I think she’d have always ended up in a Tesco. But now she does have the social media following, in a similar vain to Carrie Fletcher. So she may get larger roles but only to get bums on seats.

She really can’t let the whole “Six” thing go can she? She says she decided to leave and not stay on after her contract ended as she wants to focus on other things, but nearly every day is posting about being in Six. I think if she’s no longer in the cast then she shouldn’t try and ride the coat tails of it, so to speak.

She irritates me too. What people don't realise is, her being in Heathers wasn't an accident. She also had a very good PR team working with her to get her "noticed" whilst she was pissing around in Tesco. I don't think she is as talented as she thinks she is, yes, she went to drama school etc but still. Everyone else around me seems to love her.

I loveeee Legally Blonde and considered going when it was down by me, but I've seen videos of the end of the show this morning and Hannah is a step ahead of everyone else for the end dance, plus she's going way too OTT while doing it. Seeing as the only show I'd be able to get to would be one Hannah is performing as Elle, it's a no from me. I don't understand how she's gone from working in Tesco to performing in huge shows
