Watching those throwback videos, it’s so obvious Riley needed help. Such an idiot. Stop calling them Riley bear and Hanna banana too.

Can’t believe she’s not really considering eduction support for Riley. This was according to a question box. She clearly needs it, poor child.

Riley would really benefit from attending a special school. Grecian can’t be fucked with 2 school drop offs though

Oh Riley would definitely benefit from a more supportive school. I can’t believe there is no one in their life would would tell them that? Why would you want your child to struggle thru “mainstream” schooling? Grecian is a selfish piece of tit.

Not to mention it would be great for Riley to be around other children who have challenges to realise she’s not alone.

She hated having to go & teach her daughters EA how to tube feed, so I can just imagine how much she would hate having to do an extra school drop off.
---
Why wouldn’t she put her in a place that has staff qualified to do this? She’s adding so much unnecessary stress to both her and Riley!!

Yeah that poor little girl desperately needs specialist support from a special needs school. The gap in ability between Riley and the rest of the cohort is only going to grow. It’s actually unfair to the rest of the kids for their teacher’s time to be spent helping Riley with her physical needs, especially if the learning expectations in the curriculum are well above the capacity Riley will ever be able to achieve. Sadly it’s a reality check that Grecian needs to have. Also it really shocked me that she’s only 32 years old. I thought she was way older lol

I really don't understand why she doesn't put Riley in a school that can help with all her needs her current school doesn't seem to know how to help her, having to go in 4-5 days to do her feeds isn't substantial, too many interruption won't be good for her learning. After all these years she not getting the level of care she needs. 😔

Riley def needs to attend a special school. My friend is a teacher at one and the children absolutely thrive and are happy. Why not help this poor kid out? 😞

My daughter is special needs and I totally agree! She did preschool at a mainstream school and the principal rang me at the end of the year to have an honest chat. And it was that they will ofcourse support her as much as they can but it would be a disservice to her. They were quite happy to keep her and support her with every effort they could but the reality was she wasn't going to be able to keep up and it wouldn't have been fair to her or the other kids as well because of the levels of support she needed. It's a hard pill to swallow but these decisions need to be made in the best interest of your child and not on how it makes you personally feel. It seems like Grecian doesn't believe or can't accept that Riley needs to be in a specialist setting which is sad because she could absolutely be thriving. I hope this doesn't come across poorly but my daughter has a much lower level of disability than Riley and she was verified by the government for a place in our special school. I have absolutely NO DOUBT in my mind that Riley qualifies for special school and that she NEEDS to be there.

Oh and I should also mention that a special needs school is such an amazing place for a child to grow! Tiny classes, soooo many programs a d different ways of learning. The support is second to none and the community is beautiful because every parent is going through similar and at varying degrees. I honestly feel like Grecian thinks Riley is too good for a special needs school as if it's some big scary place. It's hard to accept in the beginning but you don't hold them back and disadvantage them because you have your own views.

Exactly this!! There’s no shame in sending your child to a special school. Grecian has done such a disservice to her child by being in total denial of her needs. I hope the school advocates more for Riley and strongly suggest she moves for next year

Absolutely! I feel like there's still such a stigma around it but stigma or not if it's best for the child that's where they should be. I see so many signs in her stories of Riley not coping with mainstream and it breaks my heart 😓

Why is Grecian wearing her toddler in the baby carrier, instead of letting her explore the water? I don’t know why but this annoys me sooooo much. Let the child play for gods sakes.

Shut up with your whinging about have to go to the school to feed your child. 😡
Wow is she seriously complaining? It’s not the schools job to feed your child Grecian and maybe if you’d have paid any attention to her needs and health earlier, you (and more importantly her!) wouldn’t be in this position now 🤷🏼‍♀️

If she put Riley in a special needs school like she should be she wouldn't have to be teaching the teachers how to feed, they would already know. She's so desperate for that poor baby to stay in mainstream when is quite obvious she needs to be in a special needs school 😓

She needs to be a special needs school. How could you even complain about feeding your actual child? Riley is actually the cutest little girl too, she looks so sweet.

All the carry on about going to school to do the feeds and they only live 2 blocks away. Omg what a drama queen
