I've had two kids done, one the next day (which is outrageous lol), and one the Monday following our Thursday appointment. The developmental issues with lack of hearing are so huge that it really is such an urgent thing to address!My son just had his tonsils and adenoids out and grommets put in, he also had hearing loss due to the fluid build up. We saw one of the best ENTs in Perth, only had to wait 2 weeks for the appoitment. With covid around there are heaps of cancellations with appointments meaning it’s easier to get in, j don’t understand why they don’t just pay to go through a private ENT?! The out of pocket cost was not that dear. It baffles me she would wait for the public system, instead of getting it sorted now
The public system, with all its failings, is an amazing resource to have to support those who truly need it and I hate that there are such long wait times for all those kids who need that care urgently. This woman though? That is just absolutely not her situation, the priorities are just so fucked. Much easier to blame "the public system" than realise that though.

She can talk about this stuff without photographing it. Do I relate to what she’s saying? Absolutely. I have been there many, many times. It probably is helpful for people to know they’re not the only ones experiencing it. But it seems so hollow given how recently this has all come up and now suddenly she’s an expert.

Yes and how does she think Riley’s medical issues are going to disappear when she’s older. Like there’s a good chance she will be dependant to some degree on her parents/help and yes need to be living close to the hospital. It’s like it’s just dawned on her.She’s a fucking cunt. Riley goes to school. She works. She has plenty of time away from Riley. yet suddenly her new narrative is all about how hard life is when if she pulled her fucking finger out years ago and got help earlier, Riley would likely be in a better place. she’s a piece of shit. And i don’t say work as in working is a break, i know it’s not- but she carries on like she’s a full time carer- come talk to those of us who do care 24/7 for our disabled kids, who had to quit our jobs, and who can’t attend school daycare or kinder without 1:1 support. fucking flog

So their 5-10 year plan was to move further out but "all these things popping up with Riley" means they now want to move closer to the hospital and therapy.....your child has had health issues from the start you fuck nut! What you're only considering moving closer now as if you didn't expect to need all these therapies and hospital visits before?!

I don’t understand how anyone could be so stupid. Where does the money go? Their little box of a house shouldn’t have too much of a mortgage..she works 2 jobs, he gets a great wage and bonus loading as a firie, all the girls needs are met by sponno deals or the op shop and Riley’s medical expenses come from Medicare or ndis- sure there would definitely be gap fee, but should be manageable… what is she buying other than her aldi shop and tats?
